Insured’s Property Loss Notification Letter

To: _____________Insurance CompanyProperty Insurance Claims Report Center

Dear Sir,

As required under the provisions of my current homeowners insurance policy and paragraph titled: Insured’s Responsibilities After Loss:

I, as the Legal Property Owner am officially notifying the above named insurer via Register U.S. Mail that the property covered by the insurer’s issued homeowner’s insurance policy has sustained a covered loss.

It is my belief, as the policy owner that the insured property has sustained a loss and the loss is believed to be covered by the insured’s issued homeowner’s policy.

This letter is the insured’s Official Claims Notification to the insurer and issuer of my private property homeowner’s insurance policy.

The insured property owner herein does state that he believes that a property loss has occurred to the insured’s property, and that the property has sustained damages was caused by wind. The listed damaging peril, wind damages, resulted from natural weather related event during a thunderstorm/tornado June 10, 2006.

The damages to the property are confined to the game room area and to the swimming pool area of the insured property.

Reason for Delayed Reporting - It was my initial belief that the damages caused by the wind during the June 10th 2006 storms to my property was less than the amount of my deductable listed in my homeowner’s insurance policy, $3300.00. However, when I contact a Building Contractor to affect the necessary repairs I was informed at that time that cost of repairs for damages was more than I had originally thought. I was advised to check with my homeowner’s insurance policy company for financial help.

Property Address:The Insured Address is: 303 Lake Vista South, Highland Village, Texas 75067My Personal Contact Phone Numbers are: 972-317-4663 and 214-232-3278My Property’s Mapco location is: Mapsco’s Dallas Book Page 549-M
