9. Safety coverThisattachmentisonlyavailablewiththeMultiProcessorPlus(LC6950).Whentheblenderisnotinuse,itisrecommendedthattheblenderisremovedfromthefoodprocessorbodyandthesafetycoverislockedinplace.TheMultiProcessorPluswillnotoperateunlessthesafetycoverorblenderjugislockedinplace.

10. Citrus JuicerThisattachmentisonlyavailablewiththeMultiProcessorPlus(LC6950).Thecitrusjuicersitsinsidetheprocessingbowl(withoutthespindle)tofilterpipsandpulppiecesduringjuicing.

Thecitrusjuicerattachmentenablesyoutojuicealltypesofcitrusfruitsfromlimesandlemonstoorangesandgrapefruit.

11. SpatulaThespatulaisidealforassistingwithallfoodprocessingtasks.

Positioning the processing bowl and coverThefollowingstepsareforbothmodelsLC6250andLC6950.1.Placethemotorbasefacingyouonadry,

levelsurface.

2.Positiontheprocessingbowloverthedriveshaft.Thehandleofthebowlneedstobefacingyou(marked“Locatehandle”)andthebowlshouldnowberestingonthebaseofthefoodprocessor,seeFigure2.

3.Tolockthebowlintopositionforuse,turnthehandletotheright,asfarasitwillgo, see Figure3.

4.Placetheprocessorbowlcoverontotheprocessingbowl,byaligningtheicon markedonthehandlewiththeicon on thebowlcover.Thenrotatelidtolock, seeFigures4and5.

Important: Iftheprocessingbowlandcoverarenotcorrectlyassembled,theMultiProcessorwillnotfunction.

Using your MultiProcessor1.Plugthepowercordintoa230-240VAC

poweroutletandturnthepower‘ON’.2.Usingthecontroldial,selectthedesired

processingspeed.ThePulsefunctionremainsonaslongasthePulsebuttonispresseddown.Thevariablespeedsettingswillprovidecontinuousprocessinguntilthecontroldialisreturnedtothe‘0’position.Furtheringredientscanalsobeaddedwhilstprocessingbypouringthroughthefeedtubeoncethefoodpusherhasbeenremoved.3.Afteryouhavecompletedprocessing,turn

thecontroldialtothe‘0’position.

Note: Formaximumcontrolwhenusingyourfoodprocessor,loadthefeedtubebeforeturningonyourfoodprocessor.Alwaysusethefoodpusherformoreevenlyprocessedfoodsandneveruseyourfingers.

Important: Whenmixingaheavyload,ie.‘1.5kgDough’donotoperatefoodprocessorformorethan1minuteatatime.

ChoppingForthebest,mostconsistentresults,youshouldtrytoprocesspiecesoffoodthatareapproximatelyequalinsize.Whenyoubreak,cutortearfoodintouniformpiecesbeforeyoubeginprocessing,thefinishedresultswillbemoreuniform.Moreconsistentprocessingresultsareachievedifthecontainerisnotoverloaded.

MincingPre-cutmeatintocubesapproximately2cmsquare.

VegetablesWhenprocessingvegetablessuchasonions,peelandquarterorcutlargevegetablesintoeighths.

MixingThequantitiesthatcanbeprocessedwithintheprocessingbowlwillvarywiththedensityofthemixture.

Adding ingredientsWhenvariousrecipesrequiredryingredientssuchasflour,addthemdirectlyintotheprocessingbowlbeforeprocessing.ThereisnoneedtosiftingredientswhenusingyourMultiProcessor.Liquidingredientsmaybeaddedwhiletheprocessorisoperatingbypouringthroughthefeedtubeintheprocessorcover.

Note: Whenprocessingsaucesorsemi-liquidingredients,stopthefoodprocessorandscrapedownthebowlsideswiththespatulaprovided.

Using the Feed TubeThemostimportantfactorforsuccessfulslicingandshreddingisthewayinwhichthefoodispackedintothefeedtube.
