The Certification Program consists of two programs: a 12 week Christian Formation Pro-gram Level I and the Ministry Training Program. At the completion of these programs the Bishop presents a certificate which is valid for 3 years. The 12 week Christian Formation Program needs only to be taken once. A ministry is renewed by taking a Renewal Pro-gram in addition to a class for updating ministerial skills. To attend a course in the Minis-try Training Program it is required that the person has completed the Christian Formation Program (Fall 2012).

REGISTRATION In order to provide adequate facilities and better service for those attending, please register with plenty of time before the first day of class. Please fill out the registration form and send it, along with the fee to:

FEE: $30.00 for 1 course $15.00 for each additional course. Two persons from the same household: the first pays full price and the second pays half price. Scholarships are avail-able but must be submitted no later than December 21, 2012. Renewal fee: $15.00. Please call or visit our office for more information. No refunds after January 4, 2013.

INSTALLATION CEREMONY The installation ceremony will be March 15, 2013 at Corpus Christi Parish. All participants must attend.

CLASSROOM FACILITIES Tepeyac facilities are located at 8330 Park Haven Road and at the Catholic Pastoral Cen-ter at 499 St. Matthews St. These classrooms are off of North Loop Drive between Loma-land and Lee Trevino.

MAKE UP CLASSES There will be no make up classes, therefore you can not be absent to any class. Remem-ber to stay in the course and section you signed up for. Otherwise, you will not receive credit.

Tepeyac Institute is a Roman Catholic formation center for ministers in our dio-cese. Started in 1988, the Institute offers a variety of formation and certificate programs for the various levels of church life within our border cultural reality. Tepeyac Institute assists laity to take their rightful role in the life and mission of the Church. Tepeyac collaborates with other diocesan ministries in fostering and developing specialized training for church ministry.

MISSIONMISSION STATEMENTSTATEMENT

El Programa de Certificación consiste de dos programas de estudio y concluye con la ins-talación por el Señor Obispo ó su representante. Los programas incluyen el Programa de Formación Cristiana para Ministerio de doce semanas y el Programa de Entrenamiento. Al terminar estos dos programas, el Señor Obispo le entrega un certificado que es válido por tres años. Después de tres años su ministerio debe ser renovado con el Programa de Re-novación y una clase de entrenamiento específica para cada ministerio. Para asistir a un curso en el Programa de Entrenamiento se requiere que la persona haya completado el Programa de Formación Cristiana para Ministerio previamente (Otoño 2012).
