Instant (on-the-spot) decisions
Making instant decisions
Divide students into pairs and give two piles of cards for each pair. One student takes one card from each pile (all in all, two) and reads them. If they make a pair he/she keeps them. Otherwise he/she puts them back. The one who gets more cards wins. Encourage students to collect (write down) some humorous ideas they came across (p. g. I’ve got too much homework. – I’ll give you mine. Our fridge is empty- I’ll give you an aspirin).
