We also visited Wiseman’s Dairy at

Bellshill

We learnt:• The skills you need to

work there • What jobs are available• How milk gets from the

dairy to your fridge

Page 13: Inspiring careers in food and drink

We learnt from one of the best in the business:

Barry Cuthbertson, Wiseman’s Sales and Marketing Manager

Page 14: Inspiring careers in food and drink

Barry taught us about identifying our target market and market

research

Page 16: Inspiring careers in food and drink

We made a smoothie, with ice-cream and fruit

At the moment we are using blueberries but the fruit can be adjusted depending on seasonal availability

Page 17: Inspiring careers in food and drink

“We chose blueberries for our first sale because when we completed our market research, we had a positive response”
