Why | Market Opportunity

‘A comprehensive certification system is the logical

solution, where every rented unit would be legally

obliged to have regulation standards cert. displayed

on the wall. That way, it will be clear that health and

safety; building regulations, and energy efficiency

standards are compliant with the law.’ (Senator A. Hayden Housing, Finance, Children 2013)

Why | Market Opportunity

‘I have called for a certification system, as opposed to

the current system, like an NCT for rented housing so

that no landlord is entitled to let housing without a

certificate outlining the property is fit for purpose

and complies with the standards.’

(Minister J. O’Sullivan, Environment, Community & Local Government Housing and Planning 2013)

‘The Inspex award winning entry was selected because of the comprehensive design which takes the tedium out of report writing and provides a software template for the ease of preparing an inspection.’ Inspex will hold particular appeal for Architects and Engineers. I believe there are plans to develop a ‘Pay-As-You-Go’ model which will enable users to download the Inspex template onto their own device.’

Opinion| How does it work?

‘For the average person, the regulations and standards

relating to different aspects of buildings (and their use)

are a minefield and very difficult to negotiate at the

best of times.

On the other hand, the contemporary Inspex system

directly relates regulations and standards to different

elements of a building.’

‘It was a remarkable report. It was completely comprehensive and even indicated down to the kitchen cabinet door which needed to be replaced. The report was absolutely clear and easy to understand. We couldn't fault it.' I would definitely recommend the service offered by Inspex.ie.'
