I really liked how the film opened with the interview as it brought a lot of attention and made you want to know what's going to happen. In our film I want to do something that makes the audience really intrigued and hanging on the edge as this opening did.

SINISTER

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gf1S81eEqNQSinister was a really effective opening scene as it used a sound effect that went throughout the first scene that was interesting. Also the editing was good with the flashing of the credits and titles in front of the tree where the family where hanged. I also liked how they used the childish font to interpret that the film had something to do with children. I could do something similar in my opening film.
