Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs):
Inrada Oil & Gas Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs)
provide reliable and clean hydraulic energy to a
variety of users in offshore and onshore locations.
Our HPUs ensure reliable operation and control of a
wide variety of equipment, including subsea controls,
IWOCS, topside actuated valves, turret actuated
valves, cargo handling systems, turret disconnect
systems, and seal isolation. Inrada Oil & Gas
hydraulic systems provide tailor-made solutions for
controlling processes at any oil and gas plant, and
ensure reliable and safe production conditions.
A typical Inrada HPU is equipped with reservoirs,
pumps, motors, filters, accumulators, valves, and instrumentation. All components are
controlled by a control system supplied by Inrada, or by the client’s own control system.
The hydraulic pressures which can be generated with our HPUs range from 1000 psi up
to 15000 psi, achievable by using electrical, pneumatic or booster pumps. The types of
hydraulic fluid are also very diverse, ranging from standard mineral oil to water/glycol
types of subsea fluid, or biodegradable synthetic oil.
The materials used in Inrada HPUs match your unique
process conditions, site-specific requirements and
third-party requirements, and can therefore include
the full range of exotic materials.

Wellhead Control Panel (WHCP):
We understand that the safe operation of manned and unmanned platforms is vital for
any oil and gas production field. Our Wellhead Control
Panels, designed and engineered by a team of first-class
engineers, give our clients the ability to monitor, control
and safely shutdown Subsurface Controlled Safety
Valves (SCSSV), Surface Safety Valves (SSV), Master
Valves (MV), Wing Valves (WV) and other wellhead
safety valves, (e.g. Choke, ESD, HIPPS).
Inrada wellhead control panels (WHCPs) are vital
elements in the main control and safety systems for both
onshore and offshore production facilities. Our tailor-
made panels enable safe operation of the actuated safety
valves in the oil and gas production Xmas trees and
flowlines by providing clean, hydraulic power and reliable
operating and control features.

manufacturing various types of single and multi wellhead control panels for monitoring
and safety control of oil and gas production wells.
Typical Inrada WHCPs are designed to meet your unique process conditions and site-

tree valves in the event of an emergency shutdown or a process shutdown. This is the

Cargo Ballasting Systems:
Inrada Oil & Gas cargo ballasting systems are used to ensure that the ballast in the hull
of a floating production platform (FPSO) is distributed evenly so that the facility is always
in balance. We provide the controls, valves and actuators as part of a complete control
and safeguarding package.
Inrada cargo ballasting systems include a hydraulic
power unit which drives the actuated valves.
Controlled opening of the actuated valves is managed
by a local control panel equipped with solenoid valves
for each actuated valve. These solenoid valves are
either 4/3-way or 3/2-way, depending on the type of
actuator (double-acting or spring return).
The cargo ballasting system provides feedback on
valve positions by means of a volumetric position
indicator, which shows whether subject control valves
are in an open or closed position.
Local control panels, HPUs and their instrumentation
can be designed to operate in a safe area, a zone 1 or
zone 2 areas, depending on the final location.

High Integrity Pressure Protection System
Inrada High Integrity Protection Systems (HIPS) play a crucial role in site safety. By
automatically bringing dangerous processes to a predictable safe state within a defined
safety time, our systems protect site personnel, the general public and the environment,
along with valuable production assets.
Our HIPS typically use one set of initiators (e.g. voting 2oo3 or 1oo2), a logic solver
(controller), and a set of end elements (e.g. valves / pumps) to provide the safeguarding
action.
Inrada HIPS are often used to protect a
process line or vessel from any combination
of overpressure, high temperature, or high-
level events. To meet client demands,
