Application of Colour Image Steganography using SHA-512 and

Loseless Compression

Highlights : This paper introduces the application that allows user to embed plain text or colour image into another colour image. User may send the stego image to recipient via email through the application itself. It demonstrates a better approach for Least Significant Bit (LSB) based on colour image steganography that enhances the existing LSB substitution techniques to improve the security level of hidden information and the embedding capacity of original cover image. This application will show user whether the information received is trustable by comparing the hash values. Also, it solves the limitation of cover image’s embedding capacity by generating lossless image compression on secret information if it is too large to be embedded. This paper has proposed a new security conception that hides secret information by using a secret key and hash function. The hidden information is stored into different position of LSB of colour image depending on the secret key. Hash function is used to hash the hidden information and the stego image after embedding. The hash value extracted from the stego-image must be identical to the hash value of extracted information to prove that the stego image has not been tampered and the information retrieved is correct. The proposed method has significantly proved a better approach compared to previous work in terms of information security, embedding capacity and quality.

Highlights : The Arabic language is an important language since it is the Quran Kareem language. That's why as Muslims, we need to learn the Arabic language. Learning the Arabic language especially for the small kids is not an easy task due to the difficulty of the language. Recently, Augmented Reality (AR) is an attractive technology that can be used to engaging the small kids to help and encourage them towards learning the Arabic language. AR is a technology that superimposes a computer-generated image on a user's view of the real world, thus providing a composite view. Since the Arabic alphabets is the main key of the Arabic language, this project is aim to design an AR attractive system for learning the Arabic alphabets. A flashcards of the Arabic alphabets using the AR system can be easily use to learn the small kids about the shape of Arabic alphabets from ا to ي , how to use and pronounce them. Then, how to combine these alphabets to make simple Arabic words. Moreover, quizzes and simple games are added also in the system to assess the level of understanding of the kids. The innovation in the project is to increase the productivity and effectiveness in learning process of children.

Highlights : Autism Social-Aid a mobile application developed for children with autism aged 5 to 12 years old. It is developed to aid children with autism, in every-day social learning with other people around them. Since these children are known for their impairment in social communication, this mobile application is aim to assist them and provide a clearer view on how to communicate with their surroundings. They are known for their visual orientated therefore the mobile application is consist of a set of video modules that display learning lessons on improving their social applications. The lesson modules include 3 different video lessons, which are ‘Introducing Yourself’, ‘Emotions’ and ‘Gestures’. The lesson modules are displayed in videos which uses real-life children acting different lessons in varies scenarios. Another feature of the mobile application is the interactive activity module which comprises of ‘Quiz Me!’ and ‘Mix & Match’. From flash cards to visual pictures, these are the current methods that the teachers help children with autism to learn every-day social learning. The uniqueness of this application consists of the innovation of teaching methods to children with autism and the features of the mobile application. The innovation has able to replace the old method of teaching to a more enjoyable learning environment for children with autism. They are more attentive and excited to learn during their lessons. Another uniqueness, include the 'Playback Voice Button'; this button provide a function where user can

Auto Gate System based on Secured QR Code

Highlights : QR Code Auto Gate system (QRCAG) is a security system that can protect the company by only allowing authorized staff to access critical or top privacy sections in the company. It also provides a convenient system to be used by staff, whereby the gate will open automatically when the QR Code has been matched. So that staff only need to bring their QR Code and then scan it with the provided scanner device. Conversely, when the QR Code is not match the auto gate remains closed and an alarm will be triggered informing that an unauthorized staff tries to enter certain department/section within the company. Besides that, staff can use this system to record their check in and check out time when they are enter or leave the company in more easy and flexi way. When they get access with the auto gate, it will help staff record their time as either check in or check out. Therefore, this system could offer an efficient and competitively budget option to the organizations/companies.

The usage of chemical pesticide can be dangerous for the people. It possible avoided when we practice autonomous aquaponic system. The advantages of this method of farming can be further exploited by large scale production of crops. The controlled growing conditions will reduce the use of chemical pesticide. Highlights : Our idea is to create a clean environment and fresh air also not to mention to protect the public health. This invention is to overcome the overflowing of rubbish, unpleasant smell and harmful diseases that could be curbed. Our idea is an invention of a common/public dustbin that is connected to the city council via internet with the help of public wifi . The power supply used is solar energy. The dustbin consist of a device that is implanted in it that contains a sensor that tracks the level of garbage in the dustbin. Internet Protocol is provided in every common dustbin as an ID so it could be located by the city council easily and effieciently by having a consistent schedule. As the level of the garbage in the dustbin reaches the threshold limit, the device will detect the level of rubbish and the data will be sent directly to the city council. The city council will then inform the garbage collector to take immediate action to empty the dustbin. With the assistance of internet quick action can be made. Therefore we decided to name it ‘Binnet’ because it is a combination of the word bin + net. The term bin refers to dustbin while the term ‘net’ refers to the word internet.

Highlights : The conventional way of learning car driving license course is using a guidebook, tutor centered learning, and self-learning using a guidebook. Nowadays, the method of language teaching and self-learning using augmented reality become popular. There are several disadvantages of learning language using conventional way such as the learners have to imagine that they learn without feeling the situation of usage. Augmented Reality can allow the candidate to learn through each page in the provided guidebook where all steps and procedure are carefully taken to the process of learning. These include road user, a guide to rules of the road, driving prudential, driving in various conditions requirements of health and driver safety and rules and regulations of car drivers. The main aim of this project is to develop an augmented reality mobile application for learning car driving course. 3D technology implementation for the use of education is still fairly new despite the technological advances in 3D modelling. With this mobile application, learners of the car driving course could learn the course via augmented reality.

Highlights : Finding a soulmate is not an easy task for any person who are still looking in getting married. Even getting along with the spouse and family together during up and down time become tougher. Some couples could make it and some end up with divorce. Therefore, it is critical to find a matched life-partner for Muslim based on the best practices according to ‘hadis’ that Islamic scholars refer as KUFU’. However, with time constraints and commitment on other things like jobs perhaps making it become less priority and less attention by the Muslims. Realizing how important is this issue, our group will explore the feasibility of how KUFU’ can be modelled with available web technology and people can use it to facilitate their decision in choosing the soulmate.

Contactless Vital Monitor for Home Health Assessment

Highlights : This project proposes a vision based hypertension and anxiety monitoring for home based medical IOT. The design encompass a webcam mounted on 9G servo motor to track a user face in its field of view. An image processing and computer vision algorithm is to be developed for detecting the pulse rate and emotion of the user. The position will then be determined based on the viola-jones algorithm, and its coordinates will be feedback to the microcontroller (Arduino). The Arduino will turn the servo motor accordingly to position the webcam such that the user

face is maintained at the centre of the webcam’s field of view. The pulse rate will be extracted using eulerian based amplification technique, where pixel is decomposed by Laplacian pyramid and analysed pixel by pixel and the user emotional state then is determined by using machine learning as it being feeds by the user pulse rate. Then the user data is send to physician if need medical intervention.

Highlights : During this time the server computer system only depends on the fan to get rid of the heat, especially on the processor, graphics card, and with air conditioning (Air-Conditioner). The processor heat will cause the computer to process the data so that the moist can damage the components. Use existing ceiling can not remove heat effectively, especially when handling the Central Processing Unit (CPU) and Graphical Processing Unit (GPU) implement high data processing in the Operating System Server. Location Computer Server always need the air conditioning system (Air-Conditioner) to remove heat from server.The idea has gained a new alternative in the server computer cooling system more efficient through

Through the use of palm oil as a cooling medium, we have installed three computer as Server computer model prototype real size rack server.Its use is user-friendly that will hopefully be able to meet the demand proposed. It also hoped to be the starting point in the process to increase productivity and upgrade the existing server computer in the future. Maximum use of computers in moving the server computer operations will involve processing large data and causes the CPU to work hard to improve the resulting heat release.The dust is one of the factors that can cause hardware damage caused to the hardware covered in dust that will make it difficult for the CPU fan is working properly. I strive to create hardware that can reduce the effects of heat and dust were a major problem for any computer server. The main goal of this project is to the server computer cooling system components. Use of the main computer needs in performing tasks - specific tasks and have a high rate of use of the service execution processing server operating system. The cooling system developed is important for computer components, namely system unit Mainboard, CPU, RAM, Graphic Card and Power Supply. It can save the cost for the cooling system of the server computer only used 12 Volt cooling fan and palm oil different with now regular sever room used cooling used 240volt (1000Watt) Air-Conditioner. Server computer can operate at room temperature or in air-conditioned rooms. This ongoing innovation is focused on the use of hand, using environmentally friendly coolants (eco-friendly) and prioritize energy savings for cooling existing server computer server computer that is currently still need air conditioning as the cooling medium

Highlights : My innovation is about a study on Face Recognition System. There are two parts in this research which are the Feature Extraction and Face Recognition. For the first part, the feature of subject's face is extracted using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Then, it is stored to database for both training and testing set. Then, the face is recognized using Multi Support Vector Machine (Multi SVM). Therefore, a prototype system is created in order to visualize its capability in the aspect of its performance.

Abstract. This prototyping project introduced the development of farm management information system (FMIS) web application for smallholder farmers in Malaysia by using rapid application development (RAD) prototyping methodology in information system research design. FMIS is important ICT solution to assist smallholder farmer to be more competitive in agriculture. As basic data recording and from the farm, FMIS is needed in order to ensure the data collection from the farm being monitored not only by the farmer, but also from other stakeholders such researchers, official authorities, suppliers, buyers and others. In this project, the researcher focus only on 2 type of stakeholders which are the farm owner and farm worker. The project feasibility study begins with comparative study of an existing system available in the market to give additional competitive value to the new development of FMIS in Malaysia. Then, the system requirement determined through two parallel processes. The first extraction process was using physical data-driven design system from Malaysia Good Agriculture Practise (MyGAP) physical forms. Meanwhile, the functions and features of the system were determined through several

questionnaires which were distributed to 209 smallholder farmers located in Taman Kekal Pengeluaran Makanan (TKPM) in Selangor. After the system requirement determined, the design and analysis of FMIS were constructed by the researcher including the database design, data flow design, system flow design and software development which was validated by two other experienced system analysts. The system development process was using PHP web development tool called Scriptcase version 8 which were taking less than 2 months to be completed. The final developed FMIS is accessible through the official MyAgris website at http://www.myagris.com. In order to validate the final development, the system tested and accepted by 9 selected farmers after the system training given to all of farmers. Highlights : Fleet Management is a single-platform cloud based which includes range of functions such as vehicle financing, vehicle maintenance, vehicle telematics (tracking and diagnostic), booking management, fuel management, speed management and health and safety management for the company staff. Besides, fleet management system is normally use to improve the processes associated with vehicle investment, such as improving efficiency in fleet operations, productivity and reducing their overall transportation and staff cost. Our proposed System is designed and created as Webpage and Mobile Application. The Webpage is designed for administrative department to monitor, record and manage the distance mileage for each trip of company’s vehicle as a way to calculate and estimate the fuel usage. Thus, our system will allow vehicle’s companies to maintain an accurate reimbursement claim of the staff as well as improved vehicle tracking and maintenance. Our proposed Fleet management system is accurately allocated the distance mileage by using mobile phone and integrated GPS. That is the only way to prove the staffs are not abuse and over claim

the reimbursement of fuel. There will have a Mobile Application version for the staff convenient use. Other than that, it also records the service or maintenance of vehicle to ensure the staff claims only based on the specified service stations by company’s management. Besides, it provides booking management facility for the staff to smoothly book/rent the company’s shared or private cars for the business purposes. Last but not least our proposed system could efficiently assist vehicle’s companies in accident tracking using mobile application based generated reports, which are consist location coordinates, time, type of accident, and the nearest workshop/tow service center.

Highlights : One of the mechanisms for managing data is replication since it improves data access and reliability. However, the amount of various data grows rapidly since technology is widely available at a low-cost. Problem arises when the database is packed with data, but it has lacked of knowledge. If the unreasonable data is used in database replication, it will cause waste of data storage and delay the time taken for a replication process. This research proposes a new algorithm namely Binary Vote Assignment on Grid Quorum with Association Rule (BVAGQ-AR) to handle fragmented database replication. BVAGQ-AR algorithm is capable of partitioning the database into disjoint fragments. Handling fragmented database replication becomes challenging issue to administrator since the distributed database is disseminated into split partitions or fragments. This paper will discuss about how to build reliable system by using the proposed BVAGQ-AR algorithm for distributed database fragmentation. The result shows that managing fragmented database replication through proposed BVAGQ-AR algorithm able to preserve data consistency.

Highlights : This work introduces a new Variable Strength Combinatorial Interaction Testing (VS-CIT) strategy which called VS Modified Greedy Strategy (VS-MGS). VS-MGS adapts a normal greedy algorithm and modify greedy algorithm (MGA) to generate near optimal final test suite (FTS). The modifications have been done to enhance the greedy algorithm to produce efficient FTS result. Thus, when a time limitation has high priority, the greedy algorithm will be used to produce FTS. On other hand, while a cost constraint is very important than a time, the MGA will be chosen to generate the most minimum size for FTS. Finally, the VS-MGS shows better performance and efficiency in term of generating a near optimal FTS size. VS-MGS can generate the FTS with real values of system parameters that will be used by the tester.

This project represents the development of Mobile School system for secondary schools in Malaysia. The system has been developed based on the model that has been developed which aims to solve three of the identified problems; physical limitations of mobile devices; lack of communication among teachers, school administrators, students and parents; and usability aspects of existing m-learning system. All of these stated problems will be able to be solve along with the implementation of the m-learning system. Several theories and principles have been adopted in the development of the system. All these theories and principles that have been adopted have improvised the definition of Mobile School system for secondary schools in Malaysia. As a result, Mobile School system has been successfully developed for the use of teachers, students, school administrators and parents of secondary schools in Malaysia.

Highlights : Using slideshow as medium to deliver the main point in a presentation is one of the standard used by a presenter. It is widely used in learning, business, and open talk. In order to attract audience, presenter must have a good presentation skills. But presenting by using manual controller such as mouse and keyboard will affect the presentation flows. Presenter need to control their own slideshow yet they need to communicate with the audience. Presenter need to move freely while doing a presentation otherwise the audience will get bored with the presentation or even worse the presenter will lose their attention. Controlling the slideshow without effecting their presentation skill is a very difficult things to do. Based on the observation and research, to solve this problem, presenter need something that they can use to control their slideshow remotely while reducing the interruption with their presentation flows. Developing a mobile application that can control the slideshow with various type of controlling option is the best way to solve this problem. However, current application are limited to certain brand of mobile phones. Here, we developed a slideshow control application that is applicable for all slides in a personal computer using any android phones.

Highlights : Web Spoofing lures the user to interact with the fake websites rather than the real ones. The main objective of this attack is to steal the sensitive information from the users. The attacker creates a ‘shadow’ website that looks similar to the legitimate website. This fraudulent act allows the attacker to observe and modify any information from the user. This paper proposes a real time system inspired from honey-bee defence mechanism in nature for filtering phishing website attacks (PhishFilter). In particular, the proposed system Phishfilter filters phishing website through three main phases of investigation: Undesirable-Absent (UA), PhishTank-Match (PM), and Desirable-Present (DP) investigation phases. The UA technique is used in the first phase of investigation for checking the existence of undesirable symbols in Uniform Resources Locators (URLs) of the requested website. The PM technique is used in

the next phase in order to check if the requested URL is listed in the blacklist of PhishTank database. The DP technique is used in the last phase of investigation in order to check the presence of the requested URL in the desirable whitelist. One of the important data needed to assess the damage is the water level at the water resources, such as river, lakes, irrigation or dams. Traditional method in obtaining data from such places involve manual labor, with which data is collected through a particular device at the water resource itself. Here, a sensory device for reading the water level in real-time and supplying the data through wireless communication is proposed. Data is read using a distance sensor that the detects the float location at the water surface from a higher location. The data will be retrieved by the managing authorities, where contingency plans and action can be made to prepare for disaster. This device is planned to be deployed in flood and drought prone area, where the data is used to predict and manages future disaster.

Soaring growth of WPCs force WPCs industries and researchers to develop quality products and optimise manufacturing process for various WPCs applications. WPC Simulator provide a solution to reduce the number of experiments and allows the user to perform experiment on the PC. It helps in analysing the effect of various parameters on the final strength of the WPCs. It can be utilised to predict the mechanical strength in terms of Young’s modulus and tensile strength. Furthermore WPC Simulator can simulation and help to optimise the compression moulding process to visualise temperature profile inside the WPC mat. Proper curing of WPC leads to enhanced mechanical properties. WPC Simulator is validated with experimental results and demonstrate good agreement.
