We are pleased to announce that Professors Joe Tidd and John Bessant will be leading another of their highly successful, participative Innovation and Entrepreneurship Workshops for members of the professional faculty. This follows on from the recent workshops held in London and Manchester. A significant challenge facing us today is to combine a research-active career with teaching excellence, using limited resources and dealing with diverse student abilities and expectations. This workshop is open to all those teaching innovation and entrepreneurship, and aims to provide a forum for discussion and debate, as well as providing an opportunity to share experiences of teaching resources, challenges and strategies. The workshop will explore, but not be limited to, the use of the authors’ two well established texts, Managing Innovation (4 th Edition) and Innovation and Entrepreneurship (2 nd Edition), and the wealth of accompanying web material and support currently available on www.managing-innovation.com and www.iande.info Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teaching Workshop In addition, we will also be discussing our plans for the new Fifth Edition of Managing Innovation due for publication in January 2013, as well as inviting feedback and contributions.
