The United States of America are the worlds‘ largest aerospace market.
Structural change and globalization are even increasing the importance
for European suppliers. Despite market entry barriers, the business
climate has improved in the past years. Airbus has dramatically increased
its footprint in the U.S. supplier base. Boeing as well showed openness
for co-operations with German suppliers. Both processes opens new
business for german suppliers.
Regardless if a company intends to build new or to deepen existing
business relationships, a well-planned preparation for the market entry is
a necessary prerequisite to succeed. We invite you to an Info-Workshop
„USA“ to give an overview about the challenges, opportunities and
upcoming missions and events to support your US strategy. The
Workshop is organized in the frame of the national Initiative „Supply
Chain Excellence“.
You will learn about experiences with the development of business
relations, export regulations and legal aspects in the U.S.. Furthermore
we inform about upcoming missions to the South-East and Pacific North-
West.
After the event you are invited to join a factory tour at the premises of
MTU Maintenance Hannover. The factory in Hannover employs 1.700
people and is one of the largest of ist kind in Germany. Join us for
additional networking for an evening reception.
The workshop will be held in english language.

FACTORY TOUR MTU
After the event you are invited to join a factory tour at the premises of
MTU Maintenance Hannover.
With the setting up of its first repair shop in Hannover, MTU in 1979
plunged headlong into the commercial engine maintenance business.
The Maintenance group has its main office at MTU’s headquarters in
Munich. With a staff of more than 2,500 highly qualified employees at its
various locations worldwide it provides MRO services to customers
around the globe.
The Langenhagen facility with ist 1.700 employees is the centerpiece of
the MTU Maintenance group. It is responsible for the maintenance of
medium- and large-size commercial engines. These include the GE CF6-
50, CF6-80C2 and GE90, Pratt & Whitney PW1100G-JM, PW2000 and
PW6000, International Aero Engines V2500, Engine Alliance GP7000
and CFMI CFM56-7.
The location is MTU’s center of excellence for high-tech repairs and is
busy developing novel repair techniques.
