Welcome to the 2017/2018 Academic year Hants IT schools Training directory. Traditionally, we have created our training directory to cover the financial year (April–March), as our directory is designed for schools we felt it made more sense to change this to the academic year (September–August). This directory therefore runs from September 2017 to July 2018.

Within our directory you will find a range of courses to meet your school and individual requirements. We offer courses for many job roles within the school, including administrators, senior leaders and teachers. These courses fall into different categories and include SIMS courses for beginners through to advanced. The courses are focused on how you can use the Management Information System to support school improvement.

We also offer courses on Tucasi and the various Microsoft Office products and facilitate sessions that support teachers in the development and implementation of the computing curriculum. If you can’t find a course that suits your school or individual needs, please contact us and we will discuss our bespoke training offer.

If you are unsure of your training needs we can also offer a consultancy service which will help you to identify your school data requirements. This will in turn generate information that can be used to support the process of school improvement.

As well as providing courses, we also facilitate professional groups, such as subject leader and primary cluster meetings, SIMS Seminars and conferences including computing/ICT.

Please remember we also have available flightcases which contain enough resources to support teaching whole classes in the delivery of computing which includes computer science and digital literacy. All our flightcases have clear instructions, are user friendly and for all abilities including SEN.

We hope that you find what you need to satisfy all your IT training requirements. If not please don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected]

Hope to see you soon,

From the Training Team

Tina Rose Collins, Tracey Crawford, Sheila Milford, Wendy Parker and Sue Savory

WELCOME
