• Max 5% or 1 chapter of a book
• Copyright notices are by each photocopier
Plagiarism
• Passing off somebody else's work as your own
• Very serious consequences
• You can avoid plagiarism by –
• Using your own words and style, don’t copy others
• Avoiding simple paraphrasing of other’s work
• Providing accurate citations and references for material you use in
your work
• Always making it very clear when you are directly quoting another
person’s work
