The library offers information literacy instruction sessions for ALL SUBJECT areas.

INFORMATION LITERACY SESSION OVERVIEW

Develop a research question or research statement Identify keywords and select them from the search

statement/question Develop several search strategies using Boolean operators

INFORMATION COVERED DURING A SESSION

Search general or specific databases

In addition, each session provides hands-on time: students can

FORMAT

The library offers two types of information literacy instruction:

Not teaching in the Largo campus? Not a problem. Librarians can come out to your extension

center to provide instruction.

Requests are made through the library’s website, using the Instruction Form.
