Funky Food Friday Report

Liana enjoying a treat

We tried a mango/peach jello treat

from Japan! Everyone loved it and everyone wanted more

because it was so good. It had a lot of flavor in a small container.

This Funky Food Friday had to be the best because of this!

Scenes from around the program….

TACO TUESDAY (On a Friday!)

We enjoyed putting together tacos one Friday afternoon. Students prepared the meat and toppings, and enjoyed a family-style meal together. We all got a good giggle out of having Taco Tuesday on a Friday.

Question of the Month: What is your favorite CC Activity?

“Making Taco Tuesday on a Wednesday!” ~Carlos, Grade 1

“Creating puppets and performing our skit at Round Up.” ~Riley, Grade 3

“I like Funky Food Friday because I like to try new foods.” ~Bryan, Grade 5

“I enjoyed making soap. Mine smelled like lavender and roses.” ~Vanessa, Grade 4

“I liked prank day because we got to pull pranks on people. It was really funny to watch them bite into the

toothpaste-filled Oreos!” ~Rhyanna, Grade 4

CUP TOWERS James and Luciano wanted to plan and lead an activity together, and decided that cup stacking would be a fun idea for everyone. They created challenges for kids to try and encouraged all of the participants.
