Dwight Carter

WHEREAS Dwight Carter, who died on January 4, 2016, has served the Indianapolis Public Schools for a total of 4 1/2 years as a Special Education Assistant.

WHEREAS his years of service contributed positively and significantly to the education of many Indianapolis Public Schools students.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of School Commissioners of the city of Indianapolis that the death of Dwight Carter be memorialized and that a copy of this memorial be sent to the members of his family.

Mr. Carter was an avid sports enthusiast and loved music. Mr. Carter served as the school Athletic Coordinator and also coached basketball.

He was always willing to assist in any capacity with any extra duties at his schools. As a result of his many deeds, Mr. Carter was well liked by his peers. He will be remembered for his prolific efforts to assist students with academics and athletics.
