Frankly SpeakingA Social Turmoil

Lucky are those who are looked after well (to their

satisfaction) by their children. Even today sons and daughters

are giving a helping hand to the senior most member willingly,

smilingly, respectfully and with compassion. However such

species are now rare to find due to changing values of life,

culture and in-tolerance.

The generation next to senior/super seniors has distinct

advantage due to the flourishing economy and advancing

technology motivating them for moving out of joint family in

search of greener pasture, leaving behind their seniors to fend

for themselves.

There are many seniors who are the recipients of the

prosperity accruing to their children yet devoid of emotional

and physical support needed by them in their twilight days.

‘Money does not make the mare go’. The need of the hour is

a gift of ‘word of favor’ and ‘a smile of praise’. The present day

relationship is more self personality oriented and devoid of

thoughtfulness and thankfulness. The sacrifices made by

seniors are conveniently forgotten. The biggest casualty is

‘joint family system’ which landed greater emphasis on

discipline and family hierarchy.

The worst scenario is for those who are still well-off yet

deprived of their own children by the almighty. They are

condemned for each of their acts, looked down upon as a

burden, considered totally devoid of wisdom and foresight.

One of our colleague detailed his pathetic story and

concluded by noting ‘I am so much frustrated that I have

decided to donate all my assets including all organs of my

body to a reputed hospital, sheer out of vengence to deprive

their privilege even of cremating my body.’ It is an irony of faith

that this generation on one hand looks down upon their

seniors yet have an eagle eye on the residues of their fortune.

There is another dimension of this social turmoil. Children

have demonstrated in Humburg with play cards. ‘Our parents

do not love us’.

‘They love their smart phones’. ‘They play with their

phones not with us’. ‘We are angry’. ‘We are very angry’.

Whats app message narrated a same story. A lady teacher

asked children to pen down ten lines on the parents. One of

the students wrote ‘my parents do not love me’. ‘They love

their smart phone’. ‘They play with it and not with me’.

Sadly it turned out to be teacher’s own son, which made her cry.

A miss-adventure will not escape punishment and a

Samaritan will not yawn for the reward. One will not be

balanced by the other. Such is the law of nature.

God bless those who matter.

Between us.

The AGM of IROWA (Kerala Unit) was held on 15/12/2018 at Rama Varma Club, KOCHI. The meeting was chaired by Shri K S Nair, President of Kerala Unit and was attended by around 100 members with their family. Shri K S Nair in his presidential address thanked the IOC Management for the recent announcement of felicitation award and revision in SABF pension. He also thanked the Delhi, Southern and Eastern Units of IROWA for the financial assistance extended to us for helping the flood affected members. IOC Management has not responded to our various pending issues. Efforts are on by our Apex body Delhi Unit members to resolve the issues.

Shri K A Venu, Secretary welcomed the members and thanked all members for their support and cooperation. He highlighted – shifting of date from 31.12.2006 to 1.1.2007 on SABF pension, Felicitation award, Kerala flood, revision pending on medical benefits, non-implementation of PBT announced by BPE; financial assistance to flood affected members etc. Other points highlighted are : Around Rs.1.70 lacs were distributed to our flood affected members. During the function 23 members who attained the above of 80+ were felicitated. He also mentioned that our Association exists for the past more than 25 years. The Apex body at Delhi with the support of various Units established very good rapport with the top Management. IOC Management was kind enough to listen to our problems/issues and periodical revisions were taking place on various retiral benefits. IROWA takes up all welfare issues of retired officers with the Management and not one issue alone. There should not have any apprehension that IROWA takes up issues affecting only certain section of retirees. All issues relating to retirees are taken up for a solution.

Shri B Karthikeyan, DGM(HR), KeSO joined the AGM and clarified the issues which are pending with KeSO. He also conveyed the ban imposed by Management for nomination of hospitals. Shri K S Nair appreciated the assistance extended by his team to the retired employees.

Another legend passes away. Mr M M Lal became second President of Indian Oil Retired Officers Welfare Association after Late Shri T K Sinha layid the foundation of this great organisation in 1987.

Mr Lal took over in 1988 was ably assisted by the First General Secretary Late Shri R K Gupta. He continued as President till he handed over the Presidentship to Late Shri S S Saxena in 1991.

Mr M M Lal took over the Presidentship of the association at the time when it was in its infancy having very few members on roll form Refineries. His task was cut out, enrolment drive of members from all the divisions particularly from marketing division Delhi where from the retired. The financial position required his concentrated efforts for improving its financial health.

Mr Lal was a pioneer in his 'PR' and his contribution towards the growth of Indian Oil Corporation due to his links with the government and is note worthy. His contribution towards the growth of IROWA is loudable.

Mr Lal was a very religious and pious person. He was associated with Sai Temple, Lodhi Road, New Delhi for a long period. He also established another Sai Temple near his residence.

A Legend Passes Away

A Noval Idea“What a Nice Idea! Swiss Time Bank”

A student studying in Switzerland observes:

While studying in Switzerland, I rented a house near the school.

The landlady Kristina is a 67 year-old single old lady who had worked as a teacher in a secondary school before she retired.

Switzerland's pension is very good, enough to not worry her about food and shelter in her later years.

However, she actually found "work" to take care of an 87 year-old single old man.

I asked if she was working for money.

Her answer surprised me: *“I do not work for money, but I put my time in the 'time bank’, and when I cannot move in my old age, I could withdraw it".*

The first time I heard about this concept of "Time Bank", I was very curious and asked the landlady more.

The original “Time Bank” was an old-age pension program developed by the Swiss Federal Ministry of Social Security. People saved the 'Time' taking care of the elderly when they were younger, and when they were old, ill or needed care could withdraw it.

Applicants must be healthy, good at communicating and full of love. Everyday they have to look after the elderly who need help.

Their service hours will be deposited into the personal 'Time' accounts of the social security system.

She went to work twice a week, spending two hours each time helping the elderly, shopping, cleaning their room, taking them out to sunbathe, chatting with them.

According to the agreement, after one year of her service, “Time Bank” will calculate her working hours and issue her a “Time Bank Card”.

When she needs someone to take care of her, she can use her “Time Bank Card” to “Time To Withdraw“ and "Time Interest”. After the information verification, “Time Bank” will assign other volunteers to take care of her at the hospital or her home.

One day, I was in school and the landlady called and said she fell off the stool when she was wiping the window.

I quickly took leave and sent her to the hospital for treatment.

The landlady broke her ankle and needed to stay in bed for a while.

While I was preparing to apply for a home to take care of her, the landlady told me that I need not worry about her

She had already submitted a withdrawal request to the “Time Bank”.

Sure enough, in less than two hours "Time Bank" sent a nursing worker to come and care for the landlady.

In the following month, the care worker took care of the landlady everyday, chatted with her and made delicious meals for her.

Under the meticulous care of the carer, the landlady soon recovered her health.

After recovering, the landlady went back to "Work". She said that she intends to save more time in the "Time Bank" while she is still healthy.

Today, in Switzerland, the use of "Time Banks" to support old age has become a common practice.

This not only saves the country pension expenses, but also solves other social problems.

Many Swiss citizens are very supportive of this kind of old-age pensions.

The survey conducted by the Swiss pension organization shows that more than half of Swiss people also want to participate in this type of old-age care service.

The Swiss government also passed legislation to support the "Time Bank" pension scheme.

At present the number of "Empty-Nest Old People" in Asian countries are increasing and it has gradually become a social problem.

Switzerland style "Time Bank" pension may be a good option for us too.

Human life is jugglery with 5 balls the way professional artist in the Circus plays with five balls simultaneously by throwing each ball in the air and none of the balls fall on the ground.

In our life also we continuously play with 5 balls three of which are made of rubber and will not break if they fall and will bounce back for us to catch whereas two balls are made of glass. If they fall they immediately break. There is no way to get these balls back in our life

The three rubber balls are money, business and property. If they fall there is every possibility that money, if lost, may come back. Similarly, businesses are turned around and accumulated losses wiped out. The same applies to property as well.

Remaining two are glass balls - our health and family.

We pursue the three rubber balls but ignore the two glass balls. Obvious reason for our pursuing the rubber balls is the visible multiplier effect of success in business, money and property during prime of our lives.

Once we loose our health we are unlikely to recover fully or at all. A single chronic ailment can put all other priorities on the backdoor – not only for us but for every member of our family.

Balance among the balls is the key factor for a life well lived. We cannot simply pay full attention to our two glass i.e. our health and family ignoring the financial part.

We definitely require money because where money is required nothing else works - not even our family or our health although in rarest of the rare cases a healthy man can sell his vital body organs like kidney or lever but this is rare and illegal.

Similarly, in some cases our family comes to our rescue but these cases are again comparatively rare and we lose our respect in the family and society in such cases.

It is quite common that when we get success in our job or in business the success is intoxicating and forces us to put a little extra work for substantial benefit. We have to be careful at this juncture to not to ignore the other balls and should forgo part of the benefit to maintain balance in our life.

Similarly, when we get success in property during rising prices we take heavy loans and go for more property to make fast buck but such loans have a heavy toll on our health and family life. Most of the people suffering from chronic ailments suffer just because they went out of the way to satisfy their greed for more money and property or success in business.

All the members of our association are extremely lucky as a class service class is well protected against over work excessive travelling and other factors adversely affecting

MOBILE PHONE

TRAVEL BY CAR

CUSTOM IN DELHI

CUSTOM IN SOUTH

Our members are using both categories of mobile phones - the basic and smart phones. Many recent retirees use multiple gadgets. All these involve some etiquettes. It is very common that people disconnect a call when they are busy in some important activity. The caller doesn't know what activity you are involved in and may think that it is the poor network because of which the call has not got connected. He is likely to call you up again. Later your telling that you were busy with some very important activity and you disconnected pinches the caller. It is against the etiquettes of mobile phone usage to assume that the other person knows your situation. You must briefly tell him that you will call him back. If you are using a smartphone you can and press a button which will automatically send a message to the caller that you will call back in so many minutes or whatever message you set up will go as SMS.

It is common that when we take lift from a friend we utilise the time in clearing our WhatsApp messages or for calling up/messaging friends giving our friend in the car that he is being used as a driver.

When you are traveling with somebody in your car and want to play music you can check with your co-passenger his interest and play the music of common interest.

Sometimes we travel in a car driven by our son, daughter or daughter in law and we happen to be sitting on the rear seat on the right side i.e. traffic side. It is important that we don't hesitate and ask our son or daughter to open the door for us so that we can get down safely because the person standing outside the car can guide the traffic and open the door safely rather than the person sitting inside and opening the door when the traffic permits.

This column can be gainfully used for various types of etiquettes both for the retiree and his family members.

I have a very strong liking for a custom in Delhi where the visitor is offered water even without his asking for a glass of water.

The custom of south of leaving the footwear outside the house is an excellent way because people hesitate to tell the visitor to leave the footwear outside where they themselves don't want footwear to be brought inside the house. For that matter carpet getting spoilt unknowingly and unintentionally because of possible rain outside or general dusty conditions crossing the footwear to carry dust inside.

Guest is invariably told to avoid to not to bother and come with what we have even on the carpet recently I went to a friend who had just laid a Persian carpet Egyptian carpet and my leaving the footwear outside pleased him very much because I worked in south for 5 years and habitually I avoid caring footwear inside the house.

EtiquettesA man met an unkown person in a shopping mall the only time, that man pretended his phone battery had gone flat and requested if he could use cellphone to call an uber taxi to take him home. Note that uber records details of any phone call that contacts them for service. So when the following morning the driver was found dead and the car missing, the uber company produced to the police the details of the phone used in calling the cab and that's how the man who gave his phone to that stranger got tangled in the murder case and had a harrowing time. Please dont give out your phone to any stranger/person to send text or do any other thing on it as you run the risk of being implicated in a crime you know nothing about.

It is safer and advisable to refuse such request. Please share this with your loved ones.

Many small courtisies result in dis-com-feature. While in bank someone ask for your ‘pen’ and forgot to return. Refusal for such courtises is to wardoff your inconvenience. You may decide to be choosy.

*Shocking Incident*

Many members have desired to know if felicitation award is taxable.

As per CA’s opinion it is taxable and must be included as income under the head ‘Income from other sources’ while filing Return for the Assessment Year 2020-21 (Financial Year 2019-2020)

Time has come when each day has to be celebrated as environment Day.

We can learn from small people like coconut vendor.

He uses empty coconut shell for presenting a sapling to his customers rather than throwing away the shell requiring its ultimate disposal.

This brilliant gesture on his part makes the customer aware of the need to protect trees and greenery around us.

We senior citizens can develop the hobby of gardening and make our humble contribution to make the environment greener. This will keep us gainfully engaged towards a social cause directly affecting our future generations who are likely to face global warming largely caused by over harvesting bounties of nature by our generation. Our forefathers used to lead balanced life in villages where use of natural resources was optimal with hardly any harm to ecology

Anyone of us doing any good to the environment in an innovative way may share on this platform for others to follow within their means. Some of our colleague retirees have used open space in flats on higher floors for growing fruits and vegetables.

Environment Day

IOCean Mr Dinesh Khanna - Men's singles

Asian Champion 1965Mr Dinesh Khanna achieved the feat on November 14, 1965 became the first Indian to win an Asian badminton. For the last 65 years his record remains unbeaten.

Mr Dinesh Khanna had started his sports career at a time when our country was not on the sports map in any game, one had to instil confidence in the family that he is

serious about his passion and fund his passion out of his pocket money with non-existent sponsorships.

On our probing Mr Dinesh Khanna candidly elaborated as follows

“I have only one wish that is to see another Indian wining the Asian Championship crown so that I have a company.

During my playing days my backhand was considered very strong. But nobody taught me. I only learnt it by reading a book by Kenneth Davidson. The players had to spent from their pocket if they wanted to persue the sport in a serious way. Know a days, it is easier for the players to get sponsorship.

At that time I was 22 years and was returning from a knee injury. I had not even won a National Championship till then, let alone International Tournaments. I bearly had months training before going into the Tournament, which was being held in Lucknow. There were four Indian players in the tournament and I was the fourth one. I was unseeded but then I hit the right chord at the right time. Out of all the wins, the quarter final triumph against Japan’s Yoshinori Itagaki gave me confidence as the match had been long rallies. I only won due to better stamina.

In the semi final I defeated another Indian Mr Suresh Goel and then in the final I got the better of Thailand’s Sangol Rattanusora to clinch the title. Many thought my win was a fluke. After I won the Nehru Memorial International Badminton Tournament in Delhi, which happened right after Asian Championship everyone started taking me seriously.”

His observation on his historic trumph and his take on current generation of Indian shutler is enumerated below:

He considered this is the golden age of Indian Badminton. There are 4 to 5 players in mens and womens single are in the top 20. Saina Nehwal is already number one. We have also won medals in almost every major Championship.

It has changed a lot and it has changed for better. The top Indian players have specialised coaching, trainers and they get to play regularly with top players.

Presently he traines kids at the basic and intermediate level at Siri Fort Auditorium. If they want to persue the sports more professionally then he refer them to other centres like the one being run by Pullela Gopichand or Prakash Padukone.

Mr Dinesh Khanna was honoured by Elima Mater, Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh now named as PEC University of Technology with distinguished Alumnus Award 2017 for overall excellence specially outstanding achievements as a Badminton player and contribution as Sports Administrator.

Award was presented by Director of University Dr. Manoj K Arora on Foundation Day.

Sub: Sports , arts, games and other activities for IOC Retired officers.

Let me introduce self: B.S.Pillai, Retired in (2016) from IOC marketing LPG Bottling Plant, Cochin. IROWA Kerala Unit member.

Retirement is a freedom from bondage and free time for ones passion. IROWA members got it enough. Many members may be on touring these days. What will they do on other days? In every person there is abundant spirit of sports/games creative energy.

An idea spurted in my mind that sports/games like activities in an organized way can be arranged by IROWA. In IOC these activities are there. In similar or differently with the available way IROWA members also can do it. It can be modified considering our requirement and limitations.

Depends on individual liking, interested members can participate, compete and win or lose, will be the spirit of the game.

Initial level competition can be done in state/ region level, from there selected persons at centre level competition. OR If the participants are less in numbers all can be participated at central level competition. An initial level assessment can be done for the members response on this ideology and items for participation.

A committee can be formulated to set initial rules. Give fair chances for all interested members to participate in their passion item. I mean don’t give any eligibility criteria condition. I suggest, whoever interested must be included in any item. The various activities for participation appears in my thoughts are:

Race: 100m, 200m, 400m, 500m 750m, 1000m, mini marathon, half marathon, full marathon?

Badminton, Tennis, table tennis, shuttle, Billiards snooker, Golf, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Volleyball basket ball, weight lifting

A StoryA famous Astrologer arrived in a city. It was believed that his predictions were 100% true.

Sharma ji gave him Rs 1100 / - and asked the astrologer, "Maharaj,

When, where and in what circumstances will I die? "

The astrologer pondered over Sharma ji's question, studied his palm with apt attention, did face reading with utmost attention.

Then he wrote down some numbers and did some calculations on his slate.

After a while, he predicted in a grave tone:

"Sharma ji, your fate lines say that you will get as much age as your father gets.

The circumstances and place of your death will also be the same as your father's ".

Hearing this, "Sharma ji" got scared, panic was visible on his face and he rushed from that place in great hurry.

After 1 hour "Sharma ji" did some over-due shopping for his parents and returned to his house from old age home, of course, with his overjoyed parents – he visualised that could be in Store for him in future.

Chemically it is called as sodium chloride or NaCl2..

When we were young, this salt was produced by evaporating sea water. That was the only viable source of getting salt and it was abundantly available. It was so cheap that even the grocery traders in Mumbai used to keep it unlocked outside their shop during night time. The second source was rock salt – very expensive for daily use and available in Pakistan.

But in 1986 things changed.

Tata's approached Government with a request to sell "Iodized Salt". They gave a reason that people in North Eastern states suffer from iodine deficiency and their salt with iodine will prevent all deceases arising from iodine deficiency.

The corporate lobbying worked. Rajiv Gandhi government BANNED human consumption of natural sea salt and made it mandatory to use iodized salt throughout India.

Since Tata's were the only iodized salt producers, they had monopoly in this business. I

The ladies liked this salt because it was not getting sticky during monsoon like sea salt. A small quantity was sufficient to create taste etc. But price of Tata salt was almost 5 times the sea salt.

Nobody knows the real story why Tata's lobbied to ban natural sea salt.

Tata chemicals had a huge chemical plant in Mithapur, Gujarat state. They used to produce tons of chemically induced salt as a by product in the chemical process.

This salt could not be dumped in the landfill otherwise it would destroy farming land. Hence Tata chemicals had created railroad tracks to take this salt to the sea and dump it in the sea.

Naturally, they were spending huge money in disposing this salt. Hence they followed the western ideology of creating iodized salt.

When Indian government changed the rules, Tata chemicals started making huge profit instead of spending money in disposing the salt.

Basically Tata chemicals followed the same suit from western countries.

Over a period of time people started understanding bad effects of using chemically manufactured salt.

1) The sodium content in chemically induced salt is very high. That is why even a small quantity was sufficient to create taste. Prolonged consumption of this salt created high blood pressure, stroke and heart attack problems.

2) To control this problem, people started taking med ic ines . As a resu l t , bus iness o f pharmaceutical companies increased! Doctors' business improved. Hospitals earned more money.

“Pinch of Salt” 3) Iodine level in the human body is a very delicate balance. If it is not within the limits then it creates thyroid problem. Generally speaking, Indians have a balanced iodine level and don't need extra dose of iodine.

But with Tata salt, everyone was getting unnecessary extra dose of iodine. Result, people started getting thyroid problem, obesity problem and other issues.

4) Again, pharmaceutical companies made huge profits by selling thyroid medicine. The blood testing laboratories got good business, the doctors got good business and fitness centers got huge business (to control obesity).

All this because of pinch of salt that was controlled by the government regulation.

In US, people realized heath issues due to this salt and asked to lift ban on the sea salt.

Government partially removed the restriction on sea salt.

But now the sea salt is available in US as a novelty with a premium price. It is almost 5 times costlier than the chemically manufactured iodized sea salt.

The point is, the sea salt which was cheap and abundantly available through natural sources, was banned by the government and after couple of decades, same sea salt is now available 5 times costlier!!!!

This is called corporate strategy and good governance.

Yes time and time again good doctors have recommended going back to natural salt.

Thank you for exposing the grand conspiracy of corporates. Lets all go back to sea salt.

THE SITUATION: In Washington, DC, at a Metro Station, on a cold January morning in 2007, this man with a violin played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, approximately 2,000 people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. After about 3 minutes, a middle-aged man noticed that there was a musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds, and then he hurried on to meet his schedule.

About 4 minutes: The violinist received his first dollar. A woman threw money in the hat and, without stopping, continued to walk.

At 6 minutes: A young man leaned against the wall to listen to him, then looked at his watch and started to walk again.

At 10 minutes: A 3-year old boy stopped, but his mother tugged him along hurriedly. The kid stopped to look at the violinist again, but the mother pushed hard and the child continued to walk, turning his head the whole time. This action was repeated by several other children, but every parent — without exception — forced their children to move on quickly.

At 45 minutes: The musician played continuously. Only 6 people stopped and listened for a short while. About 20 gave money but continued to walk at their normal pace. The man collected a total of $32.

After 1 hour : He finished playing and silence took over. No one noticed and no one applauded. There was no recognition at all.

No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the greatest musicians in the world. He played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, with a violin worth $3.5 million dollars. Two days earlier, Joshua Bell sold out a theater in Boston where the seats averaged over $100 each to sit and listen to him play the same music.

This is a true story. Joshua Bell, playing incognito in the D.C. Metro Station, was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste and people's priorities.

This experiment raised several questions:

In a common-place environment, at an inappropriate hour, do we perceive beauty?

If so, do we stop to appreciate it?

Are we able to recognize talent in an unexpected context?

One possible conclusion reached from this experiment could be this:

If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world, playing some of the finest music ever written, with one of the most beautiful instruments ever made . . .How many other things are we missing as we rush through life?

Enjoy life NOW . . . has an expiry date!

Suggestions for News Letter

“Suggestion to start column in IROWA N/L title ‘Memories linger on’–where Iocian can reminisce/share some unique or unsung accomplishment of their ‘groups or teams’ as opposed to focus on individuals.”

Greetings from

Cupertino

Editors pic:

We would love to publish the memories, achievements of Iocians or their children, group activities.

It is pertinent to mention that we had been publishing the above mention in the form of write ups or Annual General Body Meetings of Units and Chapters with their activities from the very inception of IROWA News Letter.

However of late it is observed that the flow of such information as referred above is reducing.

In this particular N/L Issue No. 35 July 2019 we are highlighting on the achievements of Shri Dinesh Khanna a badminton legand who has made Iocian and Indian Oil proud of him.

The next issue is expected to highlight the achievements of another Iocian Ms. Hima Das from Assam who have won the Gold Medal for the country. Our emphasis on group activities is very much visible in our publications.

Suggestions and print material with publishable photographs are welcome.

money from notorious banks and soliciting similar action

by our friend and relatives.

I will share with you a glaring loot by HDFC Bank. Savings

Bank account has to be converted by the customer into a

senior citizen account after attaining the age of 60 years.

Since the bank has date of birth of each and every account

holder on record the conversion to Senior Citizen Account

should be automatic. Worst is the case where a Senior

Citizen Account is treated as a regular account and one

has to keep track of debits in the account.

HDFC BANK used to levy çharges for non-maintenance of

minimum balance as AQB - Average Quarterly Balance.

This was changed to AMB - Average Monthly Balance

without notice. This brilliant change gave a enormous

financial benefit to the bank as the customer base is huge.

Similarly, the bank has subtle ways of raising small debits

in Credit Card Accounts and Savings Bank Accounts. If you

make a transaction through your credit card in excess of

you specified credit limit neither the transaction is refused

nor you get SMS about your exceeding the limit. You

simply get an extra debit in your Credit Card Account.

Banks have their own strong security arrangements in the

form of safe deposit locker rooms, armed security guards,

insurance covers, collateral, their own legal departments,

protection from law enforcing agencies, IT enabled

protection, security alarms, training to staff on handling

robbery attempts and the list can go on.

On the other hand is the helpless gullible customer who

has to accept all the stated and unstated terms and

conditions of the banks. Moreover, any condition can be

changed without notice. Customers are made to sign

bunches of documents which one cannot read as practical

constraints do not permit detailed study. In any case, he

cannot contest any clause These are all there to protect

the interest of the banks.

We IOC retirees are a force to reckon with. Our collective

deposits, can force banks to stop cheating us by sharing

our own experiences with banks and withdrawing our
