projectinthecountiesofHancock,Union,Grainger,Claiborne,Cocke,Jefferson,Hawkins,Hamilton,andKnoxthatauthorizesthelocalbeerboardtonotifythestateAlcoholicBeverageCommission(ABC)whenitsuspendsorrevokesabeerpermitissuedtoanestablishmentthatalsohasaliquorlicenseissuedbytheABC,andauthorizestheABCtonotifythelocalbeerboardwhentheABCsuspendsorrevokesaliquorlicenseinanestablishmentsellingbeerinthatcounty.Notificationsaretobemadebycertifiedmail,returnreceiptrequested,andshallincludetherecordofevidenceandthedeterminationmade.Uponreceiptofsuchnotice,therespectiveboardshalltakeappropriateactionwithrespecttotheviolations.Abeerboardreceivingsuchnoticeisrequiredtoholdashowcausehearingatleast14daysafterthecertifiedletterisreceived,providingnoticetothepermitholderoftheopportunitytoappearandshowcausewhythebeerpermitshouldnotbesuspendedorrevokedbasedontheactionstakenbytheABC.Ifthebeerboardfindsthatsufficientviolationorviolationsoccurred,thebeerboardshallsuspendorrevokethebeerpermittothesameextentandatleastforthesameperiodoftimeastheABCdid.ContainssimilarprovisionsforactionstobetakenbyABCuponreceiptofnoticefromabeerboard.TheABCistofileareportwiththestateandlocalgovernmentcommitteesofeachhousenotlater

legislativebodyorcommitteeappointedbythatbodyhavingauthoritytoissuebeerpermits.RequiresthebeerboardtofileanannualreportwiththeAlcoholicBeverageCommission(ABC)byFebruary1eachyearcontainingthefollowingstatisticalinformation(totheextentthebeerboardhasaccesstoit)forthepriorcalendaryear:(1)totalnumberofpermitsissuedforoff‐premisesconsumption,(2)numberofviolationsforsaleofbeerforoff‐premisesconsumptiontoaminorresultingfromasting,andarrestsmadenotrelatedtoasting,(3)whethertheviolationsreportedoccurredatanestablishmentparticipatingintheresponsiblevendorprogram,(4)forstingsconductedatestablishmentsparticipatingintheresponsiblevendorprogram,whethertheunderagepersonwasunsuccessfulinmakingthepurchase,(5)typeandnumberofviolations,otherthansalesofbeertominorsforoff‐premisesconsumption,thatoccurredatestablishmentssellingbeerforoff‐premisesconsumption,(6)nameofpermitholderatlocationwhereviolationsoccurred,and(7)specificpenaltyimposedforeachviolation.TheABCwillcompiletheinformationandfileitwiththeStateandLocalGovernmentCommitteesofeachhousebyMarch15eachyear.
