My music video uses some of the most common music video techniques like theclassic slow dissolve which is a great way of linking shots in a professional way.In the video is uses the classic tracking shots, (Take a look at the first 30-seconds of my music video), mid shots and close up’s.

My music video champions strong women who achieve their dream. During my music video making a spent some time look at Kelly Clarkson and Jordan Sparks video’s and used the way she has this strong womanly image to influence my video. I used the way Kelly presents herself to the camera as an independent women to direct my artist.

Unlike many music video of this era that promotes women dressed in skimpy outfits and editing that makes the women look even skinnier than they are I wanted to challenges this treat and present a woman who is both beautiful, talented and real. I wanted to give younger girls a better kind of women to look up to.

The image from my music video shows real women and gives girls a better role model to look up to.

This video is not realistic and when it came to my video I wanted to get away from this image. I wanted my video to represent young people where money is not dominate and wearing outfits that young girls can look at and believe is achievable.

So in the end I wanted a music video that challenge stereotypes in a way that inspired the younger generation to look away from the usual images conveyed by the media and look at real women. Therefore, creating an original video that follows this message.
