KSD Elementary School held its first Math Bee of the school year on October

20th. The Math Bee was divided into four competitions. All of the KSD Elementary

students, except the preschoolers and kindergarteners, participated. Five dollars in

cash and an award certificate were given to the winner from each one of the four

competitions. Light buzzers were utilized throughout all the competitions.

The winners from each one of the four competitions were Dakota Cox, Kalissa Pur-

vis, Apollo Tunstall, and Alyson Tucker. Congratulations to these four students for

their achievement.

KSD Elementary School’s second Math Bee will be held on January 12th at

10:15. The preschoolers and kindergarteners will be participating then. You are

welcome to come, watch, and cheer your child on! -Mr. Wilson
