February 8, 2015 Minutes by Mary Kay Rose

Co-Moderator Dick Ober called the meeting to order at 12:45 pm. and led us in an opening prayer. Dick outlined the rules for the meeting, and following discussion about the wording of the motion with advice from Acting Conference Minister, Ken Iha, Pamela White moved and Jim Addlesperger seconded that Elk Grove Congregational Church (UCC) dismiss James Kosko as pastor effective May 10, 2015. Pamela White spoke in favor of the motion. Lisa Guttridge spoke in opposition to the motion. A written ballot was taken. The results were 22 yes votes, 15 no votes and 1 abstention. The motion carried. James Kosko has been dismissed as pastor effective May 10, 2015. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:30 pm. Dick Ober led us in closing prayer.
