What is Peer to Peer Fundraising?

The individual making the ask on behalf of the organization and sharing the ask with their social networks increases reach and engagement through trusted relationships and creates champions for the cause.

This type of fundraising opens doors to individuals the organization might not otherwise be able to effectively reach and engage.

• Crowdfunding – Project based fundraising that could include initiatives such as, innovative projects, organization service trips, events and research.

• Personal Fundraising – Peer-to-peer based fundraising that allows supporters to create personal or team fundraising organized around special occasions, memorial giving, events or reunion giving.
