1. Sqweee Checklist
2. and Timeline Planner.
We find most questions can are answered by reviewing each of those important documents.
Sqweee FAQs (Norwex)
PLEASE NOTE: your Sqweee account will NOT automatically house the Norwex party
timeline. You MUST use the import codes to import the RSVP questions as well as the Norwex-
created, ready to use party into your Sqweee event (refer to the Checklist and Timeline Planner
PDF documents located on the Consultant Office area).
On the downloaded Timeline Planner for your Norwex Sqweee party you will find, at the TOP of
the document, two codes you will use:
The RSVP code to import the RSVP questions into the Sqweee event/party.
The timeline code to import your Norwex-created, ready to use party presentation with
images, videos and product shopping links that will automatically load into your Sqweee
event/party.
Please use the checklist for step-by-step BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER instructions for your
Sqwee party.
General Questions
What is Sqweee?
Sqweee is a website built specifically as a “virtual venue” where direct sales consultants can hold
online parties. Sqweee provides the first serious alternative to parties on Facebook and other
social media platforms, with a wide range of tools designed to make your work easier, more fun,
and more profitable.
Think of them as home parties, held online. Guests are invited, and are asked to RSVP. Everyone
shows up at the right time to catch up with old friends, meet new people, watch product demos
and chat about the products. As they discover products they want, they can star them as favorites,
building a shopping list that makes it easier to purchase them later. Every product is linked to its
page on the Norwex website, where your customers can place their orders as usual.
Sqweee FAQs (Norwex)
Does Sqweee cost anything?
If you are a Norwex Sales Consultant, you can switch to Sqweee and transform your online sales
practices for just $11.99 per month by opting into the Norwex Office Suite Plus program.
Your hosts and attendees will pay nothing to Sqweee, ever!
Sqweee does not replace the online order placement system provided by Norwex. Sqweee’s
purpose is to help you educate and excite potential customers by chatting with them,
demonstrating your products in videos, and encouraging them to star products as favorites. Every
product is linked to its page on the Norwex website where your customers should purchase it.
Can I use templates in Sqweee?
Yes, you are able to save and reuse several major parts of a Sqweeevent:
Your event timeline, including all its products
Your RSVP survey
Your consultant bio/welcome statement and photo
You are also able to generate codes for sharing RSVP surveys, event timelines, and groups of
products with other Sqweee users, and for importing their content into your account.
Is Sqweee mobile-friendly?
Nearly all parts of Sqweee have both a computer version and a mobile version.
Here’s everything you can do on smartphones:
See the countdown to your next event
View the attendee list and other event info for your next four scheduled events
Start an event from your phone, or rejoin it if it has already been started
Run your event from start to end, with all the same controls as in the computer version
Here’s what you’ll need a computer or tablet to do:
Create an event
Edit a scheduled event, including its timeline and RSVP survey
Your guests are able to submit an RSVP and attend your Sqweeevent on their phones, just like
you’re able to run them on yours.
How does pre-party work on Sqweee?
If you’re used to running parties on Facebook, we encourage you to rethink your pre-party plans.
On Sqweee, simply encourage your invited guests to submit an RSVP. You can include a survey
that gives you the chance to collect info about your attendees so that you can tailor your event to
their interests and needs.
Sqweee FAQs (Norwex)
Can I use the Sqweee logo in my promotional graphics?
You are welcome to use the Sqweee logo in your promotional graphics, provided you agree to
follow these guidelines:
Don’t stretch the logo, change its colors, or alter it in any way other than resizing it
proportionately.
Don’t suggest that your event is sponsored, produced, or endorsed by Sqweee. Your
event is “on Sqweee” or “at Sqweee.com” but is not “with Sqweee” or “by Sqweee.”
Don’t use it in a manner that might be considered offensive.
Remove and discontinue the use of any graphics that contain the Sqweee logo, if
Sqweee asks you to.
You can download a resizable Sqweee logo with a transparent background at
http://files.sqweee.com/images/Sqweee_Logo.png.
You can download a resizable Pip graphic with a transparent background at
http://files.sqweee.com/images/Sqweee_Pip.png.

Thanks so much for reaching out to us with your suggested feature. Please submit this suggestion
directly to Sqweee via the Feedback tool, located in Sqweee on the right edge of your consultant
portal.
How do I contact Sqweee Support?
The best way to reach Sqweee Support is from the Feedback tab inside Sqweee. This goes
straight to our technical support team, gives us an easy way to track issues, and collects
information about their computer, browser, account, and page they were on that can help us
figure out their issues. FYI, soon we're going to rename that tab to Support or something similar.
The second-best way to reach Sqweee Support is from the Contact Us form on our website. It's
easier to describe it as being at the bottom of our home page, but you can also jump straight there
with https://www.sqweee.com/#contactus.
The third way to reach Sqweee Support is at [email protected]. All three of those methods
go to the same place and receive the same priority.
The least reliable way to reach Sqweee Support is by posting on our Facebook page, commenting
on Facebook posts, or messaging us in Facebook. That's a great place for sharing tips and
chatting about how to get the most out of a Sqweeevent, but not for reporting account issues and
things like that.
Sqweee FAQs (Norwex)
Creating, Editing, Managing, and Running Events
I am hearing about different kinds of codes, timeline codes, RSVP codes, product codes, T-
code, R-code and P-code. What are the codes within Sqweee?
TO BE clear, Sqweee is EMPTY until a party timeline is imported! The
Timeline code (T-code) can be found at the top of the Timeline Planner
document. The T-code imports what looks like a PowerPoint that includes
images, videos and all links to products that result on the Consultant website
and the Host party if set up.
• Each month the Timeline will be updated with the latest Customer
Specials graphics and any other graphics or videos that may be
relevant for a monthly campaign. Consultants will have to import the
Timeline Code again to get the most up-to-date party imported.
During import one can select ONLY the posts that changed for that
month.
The R-code refers to a suggested RSVP they can use and edit or customize
their own in an effort to get to know their customers before the party.
P-code refers to a product code which imports all the current Norwex product
offerings available on the website, by individual colour, thus is approximately
250 items. As new products are added the P-code will be updated and need to
be imported again.
How do I create a New Event (Party) on Sqweee?
1. Once you're logged into your Sqweee account and on your Dashboard, click "Create a
New Event" (yellow button). You'll be directed to the Event Planner.
2. At the top of the page, give your event a title (ie: Natalie's Norwex Sqweeevent!) and a
brief description so your guests get a taste of Norwex and what they can expect.
3. Select the business you'd like to run the party with from the dropdown (Norwex)
4. Select a date and time for your event.
**Remember to also select a time zone, and click the blue "Select" button
or you won't be able to add a timeline!**
5. From the Dashboard, click "Add an Event Timeline". This is essentially the "slides" your
guests see during the party. You can create one yourself manually, or import Norwex's by
clicking the "+" at the top left and then the blue "Import Timeline" button.
6. Copy and paste the country-specific timeline code at the top right of your Sqweeevent
Timeline Planner so the product links have the appropriate pricing for your country (ie:
T-NorwexXXXX) into the search bar labelled "Enter share code"
7. Click "Save Progress" and go back to your Dashboard to continue creating RSVP
Surveys, add Host Info, or review your Event Info. (See the Norwex Checklist for more
assistance. It is located on the Consultant Office area: TRAINING<BUSINESS
TOOLS<NORWEX VIRTUAL PARTY POWERED BY SQWEEE TAB)
8. Under "Choose an Event Code", click "Copy Full Link" to have an event link copied to
your clipboard. You can then paste it into a message for your host to send with her
invites.
Sqweee FAQs (Norwex)
**NOTE**
Once you've clicked the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the Event Planner, it goes to
your Dashboard.
If you have more than four events running, you may have to click "View All" to see the
event you want access to.
Once an event is added to your Dashboard, any edits to its Timeline or other features can
be made by clicking on the three dots at the bottom right of that event's box. No edits can
be made after you've clicked "Start This Event Now" and confirmed.
I have errors about my product links or “Host code” information? Another related
question is, how can I ensure my guests orders link to the correct Host Party?
Our website is not currently set up to support host codes on individual product links. Please
simply ignore the warning you may see on all of the product links -- they will work just fine
without the host code. If you do add in the host code part on the link coding that is likely when
you will have problems!
You do NOT have to edit any of the product links if you imported the Norwex’s Timeline code
that was created for Consultants to use.
If you use another Timeline Code (or T-code) shared by someone you will be responsible to
check and test that all the product links are working prior to your event/party.
You CAN enter the
Host Code on the
Event planner area
under edit event. This
is ONLY for the first
product in the timeline
(the one with the
picture of the shopping
cart), which will be the
party link but that is
not tied to a specific
product). Having said
that Norwex IT is
working on a fix for
this to be compatible with Sqweee in the future so watch for updates. A FAKE example:
is http://sallysmith.norwex.biz/en_US/customer/party/3521478 where the the Host code to enter
would be “3521478” in the edit event area under Host Code.
Here are a few options. First... Don’t worry about this at all. The party works just fine without
the host link.
Sqweee FAQs (Norwex)
——> #1. At the end of the party, you can add the host’s shopping link in the group chat. Copy
and paste from your Norwex Consultant Office the list of parties.
And/or ——> #2. At the end of the party you can add in that same product shopping link in the
favorites (copied from that first post in the timeline with the shopping cart)
And/or ——-> #3. Just instruct your guests to choose their Host when they checkout.
Where is the toolbar for selecting graphics post options?
The toolbar that contains the layout options and other formatting controls for the graphics and
text post type will disappear if your browser window is less than 1200 pixels wide. This can
usually be fixed by maximizing the browser window to full width.
The toolbar can also disappear if your browser window is zoomed in past 100%. You can check
for that in your browser’s menu, usually accessed via a button in the upper-right corner.
How can I preview the Sqweeevent I just created?
If you’d like to test or review an event in a real-life environment, just create a second event and
import your first event’s timeline into it. Save it, start it, and test it all you want. We highly
recommend running test events for yourself before running “real” events with hosts.
To also see the attendee’s perspective of your event, and to see what happens when your
attendees chat and star products as favorites, you’ll need to use either:
A different browser than your consultant browser on the same device
An Incognito window of the same browser on the same device
A different device altogether
Sqweee FAQs (Norwex)
You can do all of the above to join your event with as many test attendees as you want!
Remember that the mobile event interface is quite a bit different than the computer event
interface, so be sure to check them both out.
If you also want to test the RSVP process, import your first event’s RSVP survey into your test
event via share code, which you’ll find on your first event’s RSVP Survey Builder page and
Event Info page (the code starts with an “R”). Then, before you start the event, go to the event
page and submit an RSVP. Be sure to opt into email notifications to see what reminders your
guests who do the same will receive.
Your Sqweee membership allows unlimited events, so don’t hesitate to practice all you want!
I can’t create events on Sqweee!
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems! The most common reasons that you wouldn’t be
able to create events are:
You’re trying to create or edit an event on a smartphone, or on a tablet held vertically.
The Create Event page currently can only be used on computers and tablets held
horizontally.
You’re using Internet Explorer, or another browser that hasn’t been updated in a long
time. If this is the case, you will typically see a constantly spinning ring of dots in the
Event Code box with both the word “Available” and “Unavailable” under it. If you
upgrade your browser to the latest version (which will also give you better security and
new features) or download Google Chrome (Sqweee’s preferred browser), everything
should work great!
If those reasons don’t fit your situation, Sqweee will need some information that will help them
determine why Sqweee isn’t working for you. What type of device are you using, and what
browser? Do you know the version of your operating system (OS) and browser? You can submit
this information directly to Sqweee via the Feedback tool located in Sqweee along the right edge
of your consultant portal.
Does Sqweee start my event automatically at the scheduled start time?
No, you will need to manually start your Sqweeevent when the time comes. You can do this
from your Dashboard by clicking the Start This Event button (or the Start This Past Due Event
button, if the scheduled start time has passed).
I accidentally started my event before I was ready, can you help?
Sqweee can reset your event back to an unstarted state. Please contact them directly via the
Feedback tool, located in Sqweee along the right edge of your consultant portal. They will need
to know either the title of your event, or its event code or link.
Keep in mind that if anyone RSVPed to this event and provided their email address for
automated notifications, they would have received an "event starting" email when you started the
event by accident. They’ll receive it again when you start the event at the intended time.
Sqweee FAQs (Norwex)
Why is Sqweee running slowly?
Sorry to hear that Sqweee is running slowly for you! Sqweee doesn’t run slowly for everyone, so
there might be some changes you can make to get it to run faster for you.
Being a web-based system, slowdowns most commonly occur when loading and saving posts
and pages. This requires data to be sent over the Internet, so your Internet connection is the most
important factor in determining speed. You may be able to get a faster connection by:
Using a computer directly wired to the Internet
Moving your wireless devices closer to your Wifi router
Upgrading to a faster package with your Internet Service Provider (ISP)
It may also be possible that your computer’s processor was bogging down from too many other
programs open, or its memory was full. Closing programs, and even rebooting your computer,
would help if that is the case.
Can I go on live video during a Sqweeevent?
There are multiple ways to go live in an event! You’ll first need to enable your YouTube channel
for live streaming, if you haven’t already. It only takes a few clicks, but you might then need to
wait for YouTube approval before you can stream your first live video.
If you're new to YouTube Live, you can learn more here:
https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2474026?hl=en
Once your account has been enabled for live streaming, you can choose the go-live method that
works best for you. You can download instruction sheets for using Google Hangouts, and for
using the YouTube Mobile app, to go live on Sqweee.
Try not to start the live broadcast any earlier than you need to, and be sure to end it on YouTube
when you’re done.
Remember that if your Sqweee scheduling timer is running, it will advance you to the next post
when it runs out, whether you’re ready for that or not! You can always delay the timer, or stop it
altogether, to avoid that situation. Alternatively, you can give the post more time than you need
in the timeline schedule, and then hurry it or manually forward to the next post when you’re
ready.
Attendees who arrive after the broadcast has ended will see a recorded version of your live
video.
In my live event, what does it mean when a moon icon appears next to an attendee’s name?
The moon icon will appear when an attendee leaves the event. This is usually because the
attendee closed the browser window containing the Sqweeevent, or used it to visit a different
website. It will also happen if the attendee is using a smartphone that goes to sleep for a certain
length of time (5 minutes is common).
Sqweee FAQs (Norwex)
Why does the same guest appear more than once in my event and/or on my Event Info
page?
Your guest has probably used multiple devices to RSVP for and attend your event, creating
multiple attendee records.
Sqweee keeps track of who submitted an RSVP by storing a cookie (tiny data file) within their
device browser. The most likely reason that you are seeing multiple records of a single person on
your Event Info page is because that person either:
Used a different device to attend the event than she used to RSVP for it.
Used a different browser to attend the event than she used to RSVP for it.
Cleared her cookies between submitting the RSVP and attending the event.
When a second record is created, any products that had previously been starred as favorites by
that attendee will still be starred in the first record, but to the attendee it will appear that the
favorites list has disappeared.
Sqweee FAQs (Norwex)
The Attendee Experience
Do guests need to submit an RSVP to be able to attend the event?
No, an RSVP is not required to attend Sqweeevents. They just give you an excellent opportunity
to learn about who is coming.
What emails will guests receive if they sign up for event notifications?
During the RSVP process, your future event attendees can choose to enter their email address to
receive notifications about the Sqweeevent. Those who opt into receiving notifications will be
emailed by Sqweee:
Immediately after their RSVPs have been submitted, as a confirmation
Any time you change the event date or time
2 hours before the scheduled start time
Immediately after you have started the event
Immediately after you have ended the event
Immediately after they click the Email Me My Favorites button during your event
(those who did not previously provide their email address in an RSVP will be
prompted to provide it)
What if my guests did not receive the email reminders?
The attendee email notification system is working great, with one exception:
1. A guest RSVPs for an event within 2 hours of its scheduled start time (or if the scheduled
start time is in the past).
2. The event is then rescheduled to be more than 2 hours from the current time.
3. The guest will receive an email notification of the reschedule, but at 2 hours before the
new scheduled start time, that guest will not receive the 2-hour reminder email.
The above situation is an identified bug that Sqweee is aware of and working to fix. Fortunately,
it’s rare for an event to be rescheduled within 2 hours of its scheduled start time, and when that
does happen, the bug only affects guests who RSVPed in that little window between the 2-hour
countdown and the rescheduling of the event.
If that guest had RSVPed more than 2 hours before the event’s scheduled start time, he/she will
get the 2-hour reminder email when the time comes. If he/she gets that email and then the event
is rescheduled to be more than 2 hours out, he/she will get the 2-hour reminder email again when
the time comes.
When does the FAVORITES LIST get emailed to the attendee?
First, they must enter their email address to sign up to receive it. For the “favorites” email this
email will be sent from during the event, every time an attendee clicks the Email Me My
Favorites button on the Time to Shop post. (This button looks like an email icon on mobile
devices.)
Sqweee FAQs (Norwex)
Can my guests navigate between posts independently?
Yes, but not until you give them that ability.
When you start your event, attendee navigation will be locked so that everyone sees the same
post at the same time. This keeps the party together for a more social shopping experience, and
makes the group chat easier to follow.
When you reach the last post of your event, the attendee navigation controls will automatically
unlock. You can also manually unlock them at any time by clicking/tapping the Event Posts
Locked button in your control panel.
Once the event posts are unlocked, clicking/tapping the Event Posts thumbnails will take you
directly to those posts. In addition, left and right arrows will appear over the main post display
area when attendees hover over the area, when using computers. On phones, they will need to tap
the post to reveal them. These arrows will navigate backward and forward through the event
posts in sequence.
Why was my guest kicked out of my event?
Sorry that your guest experienced issues with Sqweee!
Sqweee doesn’t have any programming that actively kicks anyone out. For many attendees, your
event will be their first time on Sqweee. Problems are often a result of them simply not
understanding what to do, or how it works. For example, if you want to look at the previous post
again, don’t click/tap the Back button on your browser — that will navigate you away from
Sqweee, making you feel like you were “kicked out” of the event.
When attending on a smartphone, and iPhones in particular, the keyboard that appears when
writing a chat message can push most of the interface out of the way, which sometimes leads to
confusion.
Another common smartphone mistake happens specifically to attendees who reached your event
by tapping an event link in a Facebook post or FB Messenger. By doing this, the event page
opens inside the Facebook browser, which has a conspicuous left arrow button at the top that will
“kick them out” of your event (i.e. return them to Facebook) if tapped.
The Facebook browser also doesn’t support tabs, so when it’s time to shop and a product link is
clicked, the attendee will be taken to its purchase page on the Norwex website in the same
browser window, and the attendee will need to tap her phone’s back button (not the left arrow) to
return to Sqweee.
If your attendee isn’t accidentally doing something to cause the problem, it’s most likely due to a
slow or unreliable Wi-Fi or data connection to the Internet. Possible solutions are to switch
between Wi-Fi and data and/or move to a location that has a stronger signal or that is wired to
the Internet.
Sqweee FAQs (Norwex)
If you don’t think any of these was the cause, please contact Sqweee via the Feedback tool
located in Sqweee along the right edge for your consultant portal. Provide as much information
about what happened as possible. For example:
What actions were your guest taking that resulted in her leaving the event?
Did the browser window suddenly close in the middle of a post?
Did everything appear fine, but any attempts to participate in the group chat and/or
star products were being ignored?
It also helps to include:
What type of phone or device she’s using
Which browser she’s using
How she got to the event page (via a link in a Facebook message, entering the event
code on the Sqweee homepage, etc.)
If any other attendees reported similar issues, or if you experienced anything odd
The event code or event link so Sqweee can possibly pop in and take a look
themselves
How do Sqweeevent attendees place their orders?
Sqweee doesn’t handle order placement and billing. This still needs to happen via the method
provided by Norwex.
When attendees have finalized their favorites lists and are ready to place their order, they should
click the Shop Now links for each product on their lists. Assuming your product links were
entered properly, these links will pop up the correct webpage for purchasing each product. The
product page will open in a separate tab for everyone who is using a browser that supports tabs.
Once the product has been added to the shopping cart, its tab can be closed and the process
repeated.
While nearly all modern browsers support tabs, one that does not is Facebook’s internal browser
for smartphones. Any attendees who joined your event by tapping an event link from a Facebook
post or Messenger message will be in the Facebook browser. These attendees should tap their
phone’s back button (NOT the left arrow at the top of the screen) to return to Sqweee after
adding a product to their shopping carts.
Can I use a Google Form for ordering?
Yes. If you prefer to place orders for your customers, you can enter the link to your Google Form
(or other ordering system) instead of your product links. This will allow you to collect the
information you need to place their orders for them manually.
