This week is our last week before Winter Break. Over this holiday break, your student will still be expected to complete reading homework on a special homework reading log. On December 20, I will send home 5 books with your students. These 5 books are required for each student to read. However, any more than those five will earn your student a surprise upon returning from break! These books may be chosen from your home, the local libraries, daycare, etc. Please make time to read with your child during this holiday break. Upon returning to school in January, I will be testing your child’s reading text level. Thank you for your support during the holiday break. Also, first grade winter program has been rescheduled for this Thursday at 6:30 pm. The students will be singing holiday songs. If your student is attending, Mrs. Noyes has requested that you please dress your students in holiday attire if possible. Thank you for those families who attended the holiday bazaar this weekend. Have a happy holidays! Enjoy your time with family and friends this holiday season! Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or at (740) 670-7330 anytime.
