Partnership BenefitsWe are looking to create partnerships which will provide resources for targeted students in need of help in each school. As a special school district partner you will receive:
Business name/logo on iPad docking station•Recognition on school and District websites•Recognition at the school (i.e. marquee)•Registration as a school district partner•Featured spot in iNews (26,000 email recipients)•
Implementation of the use of iPads in the classroom will follow Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) procedures, including:
iPads will use the CCPS WiFi network and will • encounter the most restrictive level of filtering the school district offers, compliant with the Children’s Internet Protection Act.
All iPad users agree to comply with the school • district’s Network and Internet Acceptable Use and Safety policy.
All apps will be approved by the school • district prior to use in the classroom.
Certain iPad features, such as camera usage • or recording capabilities, may be disabled.
Class sets of iPads will remain in designated • classrooms and secured nightly.
Students will have access to CCPS’s learning • management system (ANGEL) and eSembler gradebook, as well as academic content.
You can make a difference!Help us meet our students in their digital world by enhancing the technology they use every day.
iPads will support our students as they work to absorb the vocabulary and knowledge needed to be successful on state assessment tests.
Using an iPad will also help them better handle the rigorous coursework offered daily in today’s classroom, specifically:
Life Sciences (7th grade)•Biology (high school)•
iPad apps and web-based interactive software are available as learning tools for students in Life Sciences and Biology.
Having iPads in the classroom will make additional tools available while enhancing the existing resources used by Collier County Public Schools.
Life Sciences (7th grade)
Biology (high school)
WHAT’S NEEDEDClassroom sets of iPads (30 per set)•Docking station with Mac Mini for each set•Protective cases for each iPad•Insurance protection•
