Elevator Traction Machines Imperial Electric ACPM 525/527 Package direct drive elevator machines are designed to replace AC geared machines in 1:1 or 2:1 roped applications. 525/527 Package series machines deliver all the advantages of *ACPM, synchronous technology in a package engineered to provide everything you need to replace an existing geared machine in the shortest possible time —

• AC Permanent Magnet machines

• Universal machine base for right- or left-hand installation

• Drive sheave

• Rope brake assembly (optional)

• Isolation pads

• Blocking beams

Compared to geared machines, ACPM technology delivers an average 30% improvement in energy efficiency, reduced noise levels, cooler operating temperatures, better ride quality, and improved control during acceleration and deceleration. Because the machine is gearless, problems with gear oil are eliminated and maintenance needs are greatly reduced.

SPECIFICATIONS• 3,500 pound capacity, 1:1 roped - 525• 4,500 pound capacity, 1:1 roped - 527• Speeds ranging from 100 to 700 FPM• V-groove, 25-inch diameter sheave• Up to 6 groves for 5/8” rope, up to 7
