After two editions in The Netherlands and Sweden, the BioLinX Finance Academy goes to Italy: April 10th the Academy will test entrepreneurs presenting their business proposals, to fine-tune their pitch and presentation skills for next day pitch, receiving feedbacks from experienced coaches April 11th, companies active in the bio-economy sector will be given a unique opportunity to present their business projects and to network with the audience of experts in innovation, Business Angels, Venture Capitalists, Corporate and Institutional investors and peers.

BioLinX partners – a network of expertise (Alphabetic order)
DECHEMA (Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology) brings together experts from a wide range of disciplines, institutions and generations to stimulate scientific exchange in chemical engineering, process engineering and biotechnology. DECHEMA facilitates the transfer of research results into industrial applications. Being very experienced in organizing partnering events (both physical and online) DECHEMA’s main tasks will be to set up the partnering platform and to co- organize the regional events.
Europe Unlimited (eUnlimited) provides event and online matching platforms between emerging innovative companies, investors and partners across Europe. They link entrepreneurial companies in many venture fora and partnering events to venture capital and corporate investors and improve the investor-readiness of companies. In BioLinX eUnlimited will lead the workshops on Business development and finance, contribute to the assessment of the projects and contribute to the dissemination of the project results
INNEN is focused on the design and development of advanced IT solution to search, access and manage relevant knowledge within enterprises, with specific focus on the Technology Innovation domain. Innovation Engineering will integrate information from several heterogeneous sources and will provide the search engine features, covering scientific publications, patents and ongoing public-funded innovation projects. Within BioLinX they will realize the Intelligence platform
PNO is involved as advisor in various PPP roadmap development. They have a strong focus on industrial biotech and develop European networking and incubator projects with various smart specialization regions. Within BioLinX they will use their real life experience to assess the EU funded projects, support the analysis of the regions , support the regional workshops and will implement the advising on public funding opportunities and the proven incubation process.
REWIN is involved in (trans)national and (trans)regional cooperation projects, Smart Specialization Strategy, regional analysis and the bioeconomy. REWIN supports the Triple Helix partners in the Biobased Economy and operates various SME driven development programs. Within BioLinX REWIN is responsible for the coordination and communication/dissemination, is involved in the assessments of EU-funded projects, the regional assessments as well as the regional workshops.
SP main expertise relates to innovation systems analysis, life cycle analysis, foresight, energy systems analysis, policy and economics, and communication and process management. These competences are extended to research and development within, amongst others, the food and biotechnology area. In BioLinX, SP will use their expertise to assess the EU funded projects and classify them according to the level of support needed from BioLinX, support the analysis of the regions and implement the regional workshops
SC Sviluppo chimica S.p.A. is a service company totally owned by Federchimica, the Italian Federation of the Chemical Industry, that is a member of Confindustria, the General Confederation of the Italian Industry, and CEFIC, the European Chemical Industry Council. In BioLinX SC will enable the assessment of projects and enable the analysis of its own region, organize the regional events and will actively support the incubation process
TNO (Strategy & Policy) use insights from innovation sciences, public administration and spatial and economic science. TNO has a strong footprint in regional analysis (technology / innovation system analysis). In BioLinX, TNO will use their expertise to support the assessments of the KBBE projects, set the pathway for analysis of the regions and implement reflective learning on the project to further improve the services offered.
