The IGCSE programme, administered by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), is firmly established and recognized world-wide. The curriculum is designed to develop a mind which is analytical, creative and inquisitive and thinks globally, thereby ensuring a broad-based education. It also encourages a degree of choice so that students take responsibility of their own learning. The Dp assessment measures the student’s power of analyzing and presenting information, evaluating and constructing arguments and solving problems creatively apart from understanding key concepts and applying standard methods. Dp assessment also encourages an international outlook and intercultural skills. Internal assessments include oral work in languages, laboratory work in the sciences, investigations in mathematics and artistic performances. The external assessments include essays, structured problems, short-response questions, case-study questions and multiple-choice questions.

We strongly believe that the sporting spirit is a vital life force that can be developed on the field, where competition is replaced by team work and a cohesive sense of cooperation. never-the-less the player also develops a sense of pride for the Alma Mater when in the race to keep the school flag fling high. Our comprehensive programme in physical training includes hands-on motor skills, coordination, movement, health and nutrition and first aid skills for emergencies. Our Tennis Academy, Olympian Swimming pool, Hard & Turf Game Courts for Cricket, football, Basketball, Throw Ball, Hockey ; Athletic fields, Cricket Teams, Gymnasium, Yoga & Meditation are all professionally managed and monitored.

Happy children enjoy learning. And that’s our primary concern. So we let the toddlers remain in their own space through a curriculum that involves objective-oriented activities, allowing their unrestricted imagination to explore the world around them! A two-session program for the Kindergarten children at levels 1 & 2 enhance their literary skills, mathematical concepts and environmental awareness. They also experience everything they see and hear from the teachers together with audio-visual aids as well as with their own hands, thereby stimulating their aesthetic, kinesthetic, spiritual and moral instincts. The curriculum is segregated into various learning experiences - fun with Maths, Jolly phonics, Reading & Writing, Eco - friendly Concepts, Music & Movement, Arts & Crafts, Developmental & Carpet Time, Audio-Visual & Outdoor Activities. The purpose of pre-primary education is to prepare children physically, emotionally, socially and mentally to enter grade 1 of primary school. It is here that the foundation for the love of learning is first formed and strengthened.

The IIS Hostel Block is a spatial structure built within the pristine campus. Every room accommodates three students, equipped with modern amenities of international standards, with ample storage, comfortable furnishings, running hot/cold water and study area. Efficiently supervised by the wardens and a professionally managed security team, the boarders are assured a safe, secure and comfortable stay. To handle any sort of medical emergency, in-house medical services with a doctor and his team are always available on call. The school provides nutritious breakfast and lunch to all the students, including day scholars.
