Application For International Driving PermitAn International Driving Permit is valid for one year from the date of issue, unless your Australian driver’s licence expires, is suspended or revoked in the meantime. Applicants must be 18 years of age or more, and hold a current Australian or Territory driver’s licence. Permits cannot have the validity extended.
