Keskustakirjastossa tarjotaan luontevia tapaamispaikkoja perheille suunnittelemalla tilat niin, että muiden perheiden kohtaaminen oli luontevaa ja helppoa. Lisäksi luodaan puitteet koko perheen yhdessä tekemiselle ja elämyksille niin, että sekä lapset että aikuiset pääsevät osallistumaan.
