5. The “Most Eye-Catching Runner Award” will be selected by the organizer, the participant who dresses the most eye-catching and funniest outfit in each race would be the winner. 6. Winners should collect their award(s) on race day. Those who do not collect their award(s) on race day must contact the organizer within one week after the race, and must collect it within one month. Any delay will forfeit to claim the award. 7. Participants who completed the race within the time limit will be awarded by a finisher medal. D. E. Registration 1. Eligibility of Registration 1.1 Regardless of nationality, participant who holds valid identification document and meets the

age requirement of the each race category is eligible to register. 2. Registration Method 2.1 Online or on-site registration during office hours at designated locations. By fax, postal or other

registration methods are NOT acceptable. 2.2 Race quotas are on first-come, first-served basis. 2.3 Online registration deadline: 4th April 2019 23:59 2.4 On-site registration deadline: 4th April 2019 18:00 2.5 If the quotas reach the limits before the deadline, the organizer reserves the right to terminate

3.2 Visit https://charityrun.icbc.com.mo and follow the system guidelines for registration 3.3 Once the online registration is completed, a “Registration Confirmation Email” will be sent by ICBC (Macau) within 5 working days 3.4 Please ensure the submitted medical / health certificate is valid. If the document is found as

invalid / incorrect / missing, the organizer reserves the right to request the participant to resubmit or disqualify the registration.

3.5 If there is any missing/incorrect information in the “Registration Confirmation Email”, please contact the organizer for immediate update. 3.6. If the application is NOT accepted due to incorrect information or invalid medical / health certificate, all relevant personal data will be destroyed. Registration fee will NOT be refunded. 3.7. 5. Registration Fees MOP$ 9km Power Run $100 6.5km Happy Run $100 2.5km Family Run (2 persons / Family) $150 (MOP$100 for every extra participant) *All registration fees of the race will be donated to charities. 6. Changing Race Category Once registration is completed, no change of information and race will be accepted. 7. Race Kit Collection 7.1. A "Race Kit Collection Notification Email" will be sent to all successful applicants from 10th April 2019 (Wednesday) to 15th April 2019 (Monday). If any participant has not received the notification email by 18th April 2019 (Thursday), please email to [email protected] or contact us at (853) 6556 3163

l Dates: 25th April 2019 (Thursday) to 27th April 2019 (Saturday) l Time: 10:00 – 20:00 l Location: General Association of Athletics of Macau – Olympic Sports Centre

Race Kits are available for pick up at the dates, time and location above. Please show the “Race Kit Collection Notification Email” in full print or electronic copy and “Valid Identification Document” at collection. For more details please refer to the "Race Kit Collection Notification Email". 7.2. If participants are unable to collect the Race Kit in person, please download and fill in the "Authorization Letter" from event website to authorize a person for collection. The authorized person must show the copy of participant’s valid identification document, this "Race Kit Collection Notification Email" in full print or electronic copy with the filled and signed authorization letter at collection. For family participants, one member can collect the race kits for the whole team. If any document mentioned above is missing, the race kits will not be distributed. For more details please refer to the "Race Kit Collection Notification Email".

7.3. No race kit will be distributed on the race day. Participants must collect the race kits during the

collection period.

F. Notes to Participants (Rules and Regulations) Registration:

• Once the registration is confirmed, NO cancellation or refund will be accepted. • No transfer/resell of the entries, bibs and timing chips, or change groups with others is

allowed. Violation will result in disqualification and no registration fee will be refunded • Registration after deadline or on-site are NOT accepted • The organizer reserves the right to limit and refuse any registration • The organizer reserves the right to contact participants for enquiries about the registration

matters • Once registered, each participant is regarded as agrees to obey and accept all notes to

runners, terms & conditions, release and declaration of the race

Number bib and timing chips:

• Participants of the “9km Power Run”, “6.5km Happy Run” and “2.5km Family Run” will be given ONE (1) runner bib with timing chips integrated at the back of the bib. To assist the organizer and medical staff to contact the runner’s relatives and friends for emergency, runners should fill in their personal details at the back of their bibs with a waterproof pen.

• During the race, participants should put on their bibs on their chest and ensure the bibs are visible by the race official staffs at all times without covering them with jackets. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify those who fail to comply.

• As the timing chip is integrated at the back of the bib. Please do not fold and remove the chip. Participants are required to cross the timing mats at the start, finish and designated areas set by the organizer. Due to improper wearing or damage of the bib, or failing to cross the timing mats, the organizer will not be able to provide a completion time for the participant. The organizer reserves the right to cancel the competition results.

• Participant’s bib must be presented at luggage storage and collection. • No bib and timing chips will be distributed on the race day. • Participant’s bib cannot be transferred or exchanged with others in any circumstances. The

organizer reserves the right to disqualify the runners who fail to comply.

Finisher Medals and Result E-Certificates:

• Participants who completed the race within the time limit will be awarded by a finisher medal and an electronic certificate. The electronic certificate will be available for download at https://charityrun.icbc.com.mo on or before 31st May 2019.

• A finisher medal could be collected at the finish line for those participants who completed the race within the time limit (as per the bib record/result). NO finisher medal will be given if any participant cannot present their bib at collection. No replenishment of the finisher medal will be allowed except for special circumstances (if any).

• No race result and ranking will be provided to those participants who are unable to complete the race within the time limit. Hence, No finisher medal and e-certificate will be awarded.

• Participant’s bib cannot be transferred or exchanged with others in any circumstances. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participants who fail to comply.

• If there is any missing/incorrect information on the e-certificate, participants must inform the organizer before 31st May 2019 for amendment. Any request or enquiry after that will not be accepted.

Luggage Storage:

• Luggage storage zone will be allocated at the Sai Van Lake Square. • One-off luggage deposit service will be provided on the race day. • Participants should be liable for any loss of the personal item. Participants are advised to

avoid bringing any valuable items, the organizer will not be liable for any loss or damage. • Luggage bag and tag will be provided by the organizer. • Please write your number shown on your number bib on the luggage tag and attach them

on the luggage bag before storing your luggage. • The organizer will only assist in storing the official luggage bags designated by the

organizer for better processing and identification. • No luggage bag and tag will be provided on the race day. • All participants should store their luggage according to the opening hours of the luggage

storage counters: 06:00am - 12:30pm.

Starting Time and Procedure:

• In order to start smoothly, the organizer reserves the right to prohibit participants who did not arrive at the starting area within the specified time. The organizer will arrange the starting sequence of each participants based on their starting time and the total number of participants of each category. Please stay tuned with the race website for any updates. The organizer reserves the right for the final starting sequence of each category.

• The cut off of time will be set 10 minutes after each start to ensure the race can be conducted systematically and orderly. The access to the start zone will be blocked by the organizer, no late participants can be accessed. No official time will be provided in such circumstances and will be marked as “Did Not Start” (DNS).

• Race time limits for 2.5km Family Run - 40 minutes; 6.5km Happy Run – 60 minutes; 9km Power Run – 90 minutes

• The organizer will set up multiple checkpoints on the track, participants in 9km Power Run and 6.5km Happy Run need to pass the checkpoints before the specified time limit. If not, the organizer reserves the right to terminate the participants to continue the race.

• The track for each race will be closed after specific time listed in point 3 above. • Participants who are unable to complete the race within the above time limit must follow the

arrangements and instruction by the organizer to leave the track. And all safety measures/protections will be removed.

• The track will be fully closed at 10:00am. Participants who are unable to complete the race must follow the arrangements and instructions by the organizer to leave the track. And all safety measures/protections will be removed.

Race Timing:

• Official Time / Gun Time: The time of the starter's signal to the time when the participant crosses the finish line.

• Racing chip system is used for the race that provides official time (gun time) and personal time (chip time) for each participants. All races will be timed according to the official time (gun time). Race results will be recorded based on the official time.

• Participants should pass the check point according to the instruction of the organizer. If any check point record is incomplete, the participants will not be ranked and their result will not be counted.

Track Conditions and Safety:

• Supply stations, ambulance facilities and direction signage will be set on the track. • Safety is the most important issue. Pay attention to the roads and surroundings.

Health and Safety Advice:

• All participants must make sure their physical fitness and health status are suitable to participate before registration. If the participant does not feeling well before the race, participants are recommended to seek medical check-up and advice beforehand, and to decide whether to participate the race on their own

• Once the registration is completed, it implies that participants agree his/her health conditions are suitable to participate and will take full responsibility for themselves in case of any health changes during the race

• If there is any discomfort during the race, participants should notify the nearby official staffs immediately and the staffs will try their best to provide assistance

• In order to ensure the safety of each participant, the official staffs will maintain the order along the track, all participants must follow the instructions given by the staffs

• Participants are advised not to eat two hours before the race to reduce gastric discomfort. It is also advised that participants could eat carbohydrates and to replenish your energy and avoid eating fatty or high-fiber foods before the race

• The organizer will try its best to implement rules and measures in order to protect participants during the race. If there is any uncontrollable accidents during the race, the organizer will try its best to assist, but will not be liable for any accidents in the race, including but not limited to the injuries or deaths of the participants

• Except for the official staff, anyone who does not wear a valid runner’s bib of "ICBC (Macau) 10th Anniversary Charity Run 2019" is prohibited from entering the track. Violator(s) will be asked to leave the track immediately

• All non-staff and non-participants (including participants’ relatives, spectators, etc.) are not allowed to enter the track for safety reason

• According to Article 144 of the International Federation of Athletics Federation Competition Rules, ICBC (Macau) reserves the right to cancel any participants who have been confirmed to receive external assistance in any way during the race

Insurance:

• Public liability insurance is purchased by the organizer. Participants are advised to take up their own personal or other insurance policies according to their needs

Weather and Air Quality Index:

• Please take note of the weather conditions on the race day. Participants are advised to use sunscreen or to wear suitable clothing for the race

• Remember to drink significant water to replenish the body’s lost of water during the race • Air Quality Index: Please pay attention to the Air Quality Index (AQI) published by the

relevant authorities. Please take note of the Air Quality Index (AQI), especially when the Health Risk Category reaches high, very high or serious, participants are advised to seek medical advice and to decide whether is suitable for this outdoor race.

Adverse Weather Arrangements:

• The race might be canceled if the NO.3 or above typhoon signal and/or rainstorm warning signal is/are in force at 03:00am or after on the race day (5th May 2019). Please stay tuned with updates on event website and ICBC (Macau) Facebook page.

• The carnival might be canceled if the NO.3 or above typhoon signal and/or rainstorm warning signal is/are in force after 12:00 noon one day before the race day (4th May 2019). Please stay tuned with updates on event website and ICBC (Macau) Facebook page.

• If the weather turns bad or NO.3 or above typhoon signal and/or rainstorm warning signal is/are issued during the race, the organizer reserves the right to amend the race route or cancel the race. Please follow the official staff’s instructions for further arrangement.

• If the race is forced to cancel, ICBC (Macau) will refund 50% of the registration fees to all participants by 31st December 2019. The organizer will not have any other responsibilities after the refund.

• Please stay tuned with the updates on the official website.

Appeals:

• According to the rules & regulations, any appeals must be reported to the General Association of Athletics of Macau within 15 minutes after the results announcement by filling an appeal form, and the form must be submitted immediately. An appeal fee of MOP$800 or US$100 should be paid together with the appeal form. The General Association of Athletics of Macau only accepts the appeal application based on the above mentioned procedure; If the appeal is accepted, the appeal fee will be refunded.

• Results of each participant will be released on or before 10th May 2019 online. Any disputes regarding the results must be submitted by email to [email protected] within 3 days after result announcements. The organizer reserves the right not to accept any disputes or appeals submitted after 31st May 2019.

• All complaints or comments that do not meet the above regulations should be reported to the General Association of Athletics of Macau.

J. Other Remarks 1. Any omissions in this event details will be determined by the organizer, ICBC (Macau), and ICBC (Macau) has the rights to all final decisions. 2. Once registered, each applicant will be regarded as agrees and accept all rules and regulation in this “ICBC (Macau) 10th Anniversary Charity Run 2019 Event Details”, including registration rules and terms & conditions. L. Terms and Conditions All participants must read and accept the below listed terms and conditions when register. “ICBC (Macau) 10th Anniversary Charity Run 2019” Terms and Conditions: 1. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Macau) Limited ("Organizer") is the organizer of the

"ICBC (Macau) 10th Anniversary Charity Run 2019" ("The Race"). 2. The online registration will be ended on 4th April 2019 (Thursday) at 23:59; on-site registration

will be ended on 4th April 2019 (Thursday) at 18:00. All overdue applications will not be accepted by the organizer. Due to the limited event quotas, registration is subject to availability on a first-come first-served basis. If the quota is full before the deadline, the organizer has the right to close the registration without prior notice.

3. If the participant withdraws from the race under any circumstances, the registration fee will not be refunded.

4. The age limitation for "9km Power run” and "6.5km Happy Run" is 18 years old or above. Participants must be 18 years old or above on 5th May 2019 (by date of birth). The organizer reserves the right to verify the age of the participant or require the participant to provide proof of verification of the age before / after / during the race.

5. The "2.5km Family Run" consists of 2 or more people per team. Each team must have at least one participant who is 18 years old or above on 5th May 2019 (by date of birth); the child must be 6 years old or above on 5th May 2019 (by date of birth). The organizer reserves the right to verify the age of the participant or require the participant to provide proof of verification of the age before / after / during the race.

6. All personal data submitted by the participant will be used for race-related purposes. If any personal data is incomplete, untrue or inaccurate, and uncontactable, participant will be considered as waiving the eligibility for this race and will not be notified otherwise. The organizer and/or its affiliates will not make any compensation.

7. Once registration is submitted, participants / the parents or guardians of the participants who are under the age of 18 should have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of the race, and confirm their physical conditions is suitable to participate. Participant should understand that the organizer, co-organizers and supporting units are not liable for any lost or damage from the race due to the negligence, unsuitable health or physical fitness of the participants.

8. Participants should agree that the personal data collected from the registration form will be processed by ICBC (Macau) and used for the registration of this race. It can also be used for the promotion of any activities organized by ICBC (Macau).

9. If the race is not limited to computer virus infection, computer program error or Trojan horse program, server intrusion, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, insufficient services provided by Facebook or any other host controls. The organizer reserves the right to cancel the qualifications of the participants and/or cancel, terminate, modify or change the contents of this activity and may amend or change the terms at any time for damage or affect the security, fairness, integrity and normal operation of the system. And the details are subject to no further notice and no liability is required.

10. The organizer reserves the right to limit and reject the registration. 11. If the participant exchange their runner’s bib number or timing chip to others, he or she will be

willing to accept the decision of the organizer to cancel the qualification and no registration fee will be refunded.

12. Participants are not allowed to carry any items that is dangerous or obstructive (such as offensive weapons, flammable, explosive or obstructing other entrants, etc.) into the race. Any violations will be required to leave the race immediately and may be subjected to law enforcement.

13. The organizer has the final and binding decision of this event (such as the mode of activity, qualifications, list of winners and arrangements for awards). The organizer reserves its sole and absolute discretion to cancel the participation of the participant in this activity and/or the award without prior notice, such as the participants: violating the terms and conditions of this activity; providing untrue or incorrect personal information; at the time of the award, personal information that is inconsistent with the competition is provided; participation in the activity is illegal or dishonest; or is considered that the sponsorship should be disqualified if reasonable.

14. The organizer will present the prizes and awards to participants based on the race results. The organizer reserves the final decision. No objection of participants will be accepted.

15. Participants must complete the race in order to be awarded by a finisher medal and result e-certificate.

16. Participants are not allowed to litter along the race course. If any violation is found, the organizer reserves the right not to issue the finisher medal and e-certificate.

17. Participants who register and attend the race are voluntary, and are willing to take all the responsibilities. The organizer and other relevant agencies are not required to take any responsibility for any property damage or lost, injury or death.

18. Public liability insurance is purchased by the organizer within a designated race area on the race day (5th May 2019, Sunday). Under any circumstances, if the participant is injured outside the race area (not within the insurance covered area), participants are responsible for all liability and risks, and may be required to purchase their own insurance if necessary.

19. The organizer reserves the right to change the race route before or during the race subject to the actual condition of the route or any emergency reasons without prior notice. If any emergency vehicle is required to use any part of the road during the race for emergency, the organizer may suspend the race. In any emergency situations, the participant must follow instructions given by the on-site official staffs or law enforcement personnel.

20. The race might be canceled if NO.3 or above typhoon signal and/or rainstorm warning signal is/are in force at 03:00am or after on the race day (5th May 2019). Please stay tuned with updates on official website and ICBC (Macau) Facebook page.

21. The carnival might be canceled if NO.3 or above typhoon signal and/or rainstorm warning signal is/are in force after 12:00 noon one day before the race day (4th May 2019). Please stay tuned with updates on official website and ICBC (Macau) Facebook page.

22. If the weather turns bad or NO.3 or above typhoon signal and/or rainstorm warning signal is/are issued during the race, the organizer reserves the right to amend the race route or cancel the race. Please follow the official staff’s instructions for further arrangement.

23. If the race is forced to cancel, ICBC (Macau) will refund 50% of the registration fees to all participants by 31st December 2019. The organizer will not have any other responsibilities after the refund.

24. The organizer reserves the right to take photos or videos of anyone during the race and carnival. The copyright of the above photos and videos will be owned by the organizer. The participants agree to authorize the organizer for distribution and use the photos and videos (and to any editorial or adjustment thereof) for organizer’s promotion purposes. Any activities

related to the organizer (including publication in other promotional materials), as well as printings and distributions, will not be subjected to further notice or compensation.

25. The organizer may cancel or change any terms or conditions of this competition at any time without prior notice.

26. If there is any dispute on the race and rules and regulations, terms and conditions, the organizer reserves the final decision and the rights to change the rules and other arrangements without prior notice.

In the case of discrepancies between the Chinese and English versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
