BACKBack, by designer Ann-Sofie Back, is one of Swedish fashion's most prominent and interesting brands right now. For this line, Ann-Sofie  always seek inspiration in her previous mainline Ann-Sofie Back. BACK's great success comes from offering clothing at a high fashion level in an affordable price range, which has won her several awards and a spot amongst the top fashion designers in Scandinavia.

BACK SS14 is raw, sporty and sophisticated. The collection draws inspiration from the Ann-Sofie Back mainline FW05 and its huge inside out logo patches combined with the naive draped look of the FW07 collection. Added influences has been Calvin Klein’s 90’s sporty underwear campaigns, as well as the styling by Anna Cockburn in the mid-nineties with its raw, homemade and spontaneous look.

DIESELRenzo Rosso created the Diesel brand in 1978, choosing the name because it is easy to understand and pronounced the same way around the world. At that time, Diesel was also considered an “alternative energy”, so the word stood for an alternative taste in fashion. In 1985 Renzo Rosso acquired sole control of Diesel and surrounded himself with an international team of talented designers and staff. Diesel launched its first ‘For Successful Living’ advertising campaign in 1991, instantly establishing a reputation for innovative marketing. The brand’s first flagship stores, in New York, Rome and London, opened in 1996.

#DIESELREBOOT is Nicola’s first project as Artistic Director of Diesel: over the past few months Diesel announced its presence on Tumblr in a typically unique way (dieselreboot.tumblr.com) gathering a community of fresh and brave creatives both on the platform as well as hosting unprecedented worldwide real-world "tumblr meet-ups". Since then, Diesel has championed the work of these up and coming talents, challenging them with creative missions, and publishing hand picked selections in international media and projections of credited artworks in the largest capital cities in the world.

LONGCHAMPFrench luxury house Longchamp was founded in Paris in 1948 by Jean Cassegrain, and is still owned and run by the Cassegrain family today. Longchamp’s luggage, handbags and accessories have a worldwide reputation for craftsmanship, quality which now extends to shoes and ready-to-wear collections.                             Travel, in its most enticing forms, is the theme of Long- champ’s Spring 2014 collection. True to its name, the Escales collection stops over in three different destinations: Botswana, Portofino and Australia. The Australian Outback, with its wild beauty and spirit of adventure, inspired the season’s statement print: TRIBU LONGCHAMP.

TRIBU LONGCHAMP mimics the lorikeet, a small and brightly coloured parrot. Its rainbow plumage is digitally enhanced and strategically placed on the collection’s key pieces, from leather goods to ready-to-wear, to create the effect of a tribal headdress or trophy necklace.

THE LOCAL FIRMThe Local Firm's concept is inspired by the European Industrial age and German Bauhaus movement in the beginning of the 20th century, as well as art and architecture from the former European east-block.

The collection, called ”White Concrete”, is a celebration of big city life, metropolitan summer nights and the wear and tear of the capital. Formal wear and jeans are mixed with tie-tyed jerseys and sports fabrics into a contemporary street style. There’s a new angle for the women’s line which has been re-invented to create a looser and more casual wardrobe.

PILGRIMThe history of Danish jewellery brand Pilgrim begun 30 years ago, back in 1983. In the early years, Annemette Markvad and Thomas Adamsen travelled around Denmark selling jewellery in the streets and at rock festivals.

Their love of music and people has expressed itself through the design over the years. Pilgrim jewellery was, and remains, truly of the moment. The 30 years anniversary celebration finale collection sums up the essence of the brand: sparkly jewellery that has history, beauty and vitality.

The release of the unisex collection named Edge marks the breaking of new ground. A carefully selected collection of bracelets, pendants and watches – all engraved with a small genuine and conflict-free diamond – designed to attract both men and women.

STADIUMStadium started in 1974 and is Sweden’s largest multibrand sports chain with more than 140 stores in Sweden, Denmark and Finland. SOC is Stadium’s own label with innovative gears to use before, during and after exercise and competition.

This season’s growing trend towards highly functional sportswear is reflected in SOC’s collection for Spring/Summer 2014. A great effort has been devoted to the development of functional materials and technical solutions. SOC works with two different design orientations:

Performance is a collection based on functional material. The two signature prints of this season are a mirrored kaleidoscope digital print and a graphic camouflage. Compression products, reflective details and tight fits are some of the collection’s focus points. In the women’s collection, key colours are Fiery Coral, Royal Blue, Black and Gray. For men we focus on colours like Green Gecko, Sycamore, Grey Melange, Black and Directoire Blue.

Relaxed Performance is a sporty yet soft range where material and fit makes the difference. The Relaxed Performance collection focuses on easy and effortless shapes for light exercising. Materials such as viscose/polyester and cotton/polyester blends give a cool feel with high breathability. Main colours for women are Rose Red and Grey Melange. In the men’s collection Grey Melange Directoire Blue and Black are key.

STYLEINStylein’s spring/summer 2014 collection is inspired by the contrasts between hard and soft, when rigid architecture meets the wild and uninhibited movements of nature. By creating conflict and unique dynamics, the collection brings together two parallel worlds that exist simultaneously and mirror each other.

Photographers Adrian Gaut and Sölve Sundsbo have both inspired the design process, with their separate artistic expression. One depicts geometric architecture with straight hard lines, and the latter plays with the law of gravity, often with flying, soaring and falling objects. The two opposites create attracting dynamics and an animated movement pattern.

The color scheme has many dimensions. Pleasant green and blue tones interact with white and light gray. Accents of lime and coral create contrasts. Heavy glass beads are embroidered on transparent chiffon in a deep midnight blue and shimmering ice white.

VAGABONDAwarded ”Shoemaker of the Year” by Magazine Café in 2013. Distribution in more than 25 countries worldwide. A fully equipped workshop with craftsmen and machines to produce shoes for men and women. The shoe design house of Vagabond is a contemporary success story of dedication, craft and courage. True to the roots, Vagabond continues to deliver modern shoes with style and comfort.

SS14 finds inspiration in different geographical places, from the freedom of Californian festivals to the minimalism of Scandinavian design. The styles are inspired by a touch of sport in shape and detailing, mixing the rough heels of the 90’s sandals and a 70’s vibe in materials and colours. Classic styles with sophisticated and feminine edge give a collection featuring summer boots, sandals and wedge heels. For men the casual sneaker trend continues, preferably in neutral colours such as white, off-white, brown and beige. The collection includes classic shoes with monk straps as well as the classic Vagabond loafers.

The V Avenue Shoe Repair SS14 collections are made from reflections of the city. What urban environment makes us feel, how we respond to life in an urban world, always being observed and available, and constantly updated. The in-between of being part of the collective and not wanting to belong. A camouflage print made from distorted vintage images city rooftops and facades has been created to build a collection in which to be expressive yet easy to hide inside the heart of the city. The collection is named APRÈS APRÈS, a call-out to see what will come after. What will the future respond? Soft suits and vests based on the men’s tailcoat together with light fabrics and transparency makes an airy silhouette. Japanese influence is notable, with origami techniques in detailing, and construction taking inspiration from the samurai and geisha, a now classic V Avenue Shoe Repair woman’s silhouette. Colours are strictly optic white and black with small colour bursts of lilac, metallic and camouflage graphics. An additional zebra pattern is a quirky feminine take on different techniques to camouflage and hide.

Futuristic neoprene, functional nylons and metallic are some new collections features found in bombers jackets, trousers and t-shirts. The school uniform; a foundation constantly used and deconstructed in the V Avenue Shoe Repair men’s collection, is presented in summer wool. The men’s collection suggests an alternative formal wear, adapted to urban lifestyle where function challenges a classic silhouette. The colour palette contains optic white, black and navy with strong contrasts of metallic colours, copper and silver. The camouflage graphics are present in both apparel and shoes.

VANSOn March 16, 1966, at 704 E. Broadway, in  Anaheim, California, brothers  Paul Van Doren, James Van Doren, Gordy Lee and two other partners opened up the first Vans store. The Van Doren Rubber Company manufactured shoes and sold them directly to the public. On that first morning, twelve customers purchased Vans deck shoes, which are now known as "Authentic".  Skateboarders liked Vans' rugged make-up and sticky sole and were seen wearing Vans all over Southern California in the early 1970s.

Today, Vans sell variety of products including shoes, t-shirts, hoodies, socks, watches, iPhone cases, hats, beanies, and backpacks.
