TECH DATA SUMMARY IRIDIUM is the industry leader in manufacturing specialty epoxies for use in critical infrastructure coating
applications. IRIDIUM Platinum Epoxy Coatings go unmatched in range, quality, and performance. These specialty epoxies include three different High Temperature systems and a Corrosion Resistance system designed for used with harsh chemicals. Platinum Epoxy formulations are a 2 component, 100% solids, and no VOC’s
epoxy system. They provide both a structural, cured-in place lining, and a chemical protective barrier in one quick application. Platinum Epoxy Coatings are used to rehabilitate and restore original operational strength to damaged, corroded and eroded systems. Platinum epoxies can be applied on tees, elbows, straight runs of pipe,
confined spaces and irregular surfaces that require structural protection or leak containment. The adhesive properties of the epoxy can be applied on most substrates.

PLATINUM Epoxy Coatings
PLATINUM 250 Epoxy The PLATINUM 250 Epoxy is formulated and applied on critical infrastructure that operates at ambient temperatures. The Platinum 250 is formulated to set at temperatures of 25° C (77° F). Its slow set time is great for
coating while equipment is out of service. Formulated for equipment that operate at lower temperatures as well.
PLATINUM TANK GUARD (TG) Epoxy The PLATINUM TG Epoxy is formulated and applied on critical infrastructure and used as linings in tanks and
pipes that operates at ambient temperatures. The Platinum TG is formulated to set at temperatures of 25° C (77° F) or higher. Its slow set time is great for coating while equipment is out of service. Formulations are available for equipment that operate at lower temperatures as well. This coating designed to cure at set temperatures and is
applied inside and outside a tank to provide the ultimate protection of the substrate material from chemical attack. The absorption rate of oxygen and moisture is minimal. The pH of the lining creates an oxide on the surface of metallic surfaces, thus preventing further corrosion. The Platinum TG Epoxy lining has self-healing
properties, is easily applied with minimum preparations and creates an impermeable barrier When fully adhered to the substrate the epoxy lining seals all gaps. Multiple series of coatings on the surface of the tank protects the tank from further corrosion by preventing corrosion agents by keeping liquids in or out depending on the storage
facility.

PLATINUM High Temperature Epoxy Coatings
PLATINUM 3 0 0 HT Epoxy The PLATINUM 300 HT Epoxy is formulated and applied on critical infrastructure that operates at temperatures between 30° C and 149° C (86° F and 300° F). The Platinum 300 HT is formulated to set at
temperatures of 30° C (86° F) or higher. Its slow set time is great for great for applying the coatings on critical infrastructure while in service at elevated temperatures. Formulated for equipment that operate at elevated temperatures and can be applied without service interruption.
PLATINUM 300 HT is also available as 300 HT-TG (Tank Guard).
PLATINUM 350 HT Epoxy The PLATINUM 350 HT Epoxy is formulated to be applied on critical infrastructure that operate at temperatures up to 177° C (350° F). This epoxy will cure at elevated temperatures, which allows them to be
applied to critical infrastructure at elevated temperatures without the threat of reduced workability. To properly cure, epoxy must be heated to at least 66° C (150° F) after application, unless the equipment is operating above this temperature when the product is applied.
PLATINUM 350 HT is also available as 350 HT-TG (Tank Guard).
PLATINUM 5 8 0 HT Epoxy The PLATINUM 580 HT Epoxy is formulated and applied on critical infrastructure operating at temperatures up to 288° C (550° F). Curing of this epoxy requires a minimum temperature of 149°C (300° F) either from the
system itself, or with the addition of an external heat source.

PLATINUM Corrosion Resistant (CR) Epoxy Coatings
PLATINUM CR Epoxy Systems The PLATIMUM CR Epoxy is formulated and applied on critical infrastructure in hazardous areas that contain harsh chemicals that cause problems or deterioration with other epoxies. For a complete list of chemicals that are
compatible with the Platinum CR systems, please reference our Chemical Resistance Chart. If a specific chemical that you work with is not on this list, please contact IRIDIUM for additional information and we will determine how the chemical will affect our system.
PLATINUM CR is also available as CR-TG (Tank Guard)
