I. Instructions for Online Safe Environment Training
Volunteer registration is a two-step process which includes completing Diocesan provided Safe
Environment training and registration of fingerprints. To complete the registration process, you will link
to the Diocese of Orlando Fingerprinting and safe environment training page at the following link:
https://www.orlandodiocese.org/safe-environment/english/
Please Note:
Safe Environment Training must be completed every 5 years. This includes watching a training
video, taking a quiz, and being fingerprinted.
To start the training you must register. A unique email address is required to register. If you don’t
have an email address, obtain one from a free service such as Gmail or Yahoo.
Quiz results are sent directly to staff from the Diocese of Orlando Human Resources Office, and
they notify your affiliated parish, school or organization of the results.
Start the process by pressing the button which reads:
Complete the Registration Information page, then press the Register button:

After registering, please login by entering your Username or Email, Password, and then
click the Log In button:
Choose a language for your Safe Environment Training Course:
Then click on “Take the Safe Environment Course”

Click on the word “Protecting Our Children Video”
After watching the video, you must click on “Mark Complete” button.
On the next screen, click on “Start Quiz” button in blue and start to answer the 13 questions.
After completing the online quiz, results will be showing and you may be able to save and/or
print your certificate.
You must click the green button “Click Here to Continue” in order to complete the Safe
Environment Training.
After successfully completing the online quiz, you may register and schedule an appointment for
fingerprinting and a background check.

II. Instructions for Online Fingerprinting Registration and
Appointment
Attention All Applicants –On the registration site, you will see a screen stating
“Reason why you need to be fingerprinted”. Please select the web link: “I know my
Fieldprint Code” to enter your Fieldprint Code.
Do NOT use the drop-down menu. The Fieldprint code for St. Augustine’s
volunteers is: FPStAugustineChVol
Follow this link to register for fingerprinting: Fieldprintflorida.com
Click on “Schedule an Appointment” button.

When registering for finger prints you will be asked for an e-mail address on the
first page of registration. Under New Users, enter an e-mail address and click the
“Sign Up button.”
On the next page, add a password (following the password rules), retype the
password, add a Security Question and Answer, type your contact e-mail address,
then click the Sign Up and Continue button.

On the next screen, click on the “I know my Fieldprint Code” statement.
Do NOT use the drop-down menu.
Enter Fieldprint Code: FPStAugustineChVol, then press the Continue button.

Complete the information requested on the Personal Information page and click
the Save and Continue button.
Complete the information requested on the Demographics page, then click the
Save and Continue button.

Complete the Additional Information page, indicating the ministry for which you
are volunteering.
Complete the Release page. At the bottom of the page you will be asked for the following information:
Name of Previously Qualified Entity: St. Augustine Catholic Church
Address of Previously Qualified Entity: Casselberry
Year of Request: Year if known, otherwise enter 2010
When complete, press the Save and Continue button.

Complete the VECHS Waiver page.
On the Schedule Your Visit page, your home address populates the Find a Location field,
however, you can change it to another address which may be more convenient, like a work or
school address.
Then select a location with the available times convenient for your schedule.
Also, select an available date on the calendar shown, then select a time from the drop down list,
then press the Schedule button.

What to bring to your Fingerprinting Appointment
Please note that for your appointment, you will need the following information:
1. Two (2) forms of identification, at least one (1) of which must be a valid government-
issued photo ID. The name and date of birth on both forms of identification must match
exactly as provided for the appointment.
2. Your appointment number
Acceptable primary IDs include:
State-issued Driver’s License
State-issued Non-Driver’s License ID Card
U.S. Passport
Military Identification Card
Work Visa w/ Photo
DOD Common Access Card
Foreign Driver’s License
Acceptable secondary IDs include:
Credit Card
Bank Statement
Electric Bill
Birth Certificate
Marriage Certificate
Citizenship or Naturalization Certificate
School ID w/ Photograph
Vehicle Registration/Title
Voter Registration Card
Bank Statement/Paycheck Stub
Draft Record
Native American tribal document
