User InterfaceA new user interface was introduced in July 2018. However, this new functionality must

be turned on by clicking “Switch to Standard View”. Many users have not clicked on

this link. When the upgrade is complete in late March, the Standard View will become

permanent, and users will no longer have the option to use the “Classic View”.

Type Ahead FunctionalityWhen searching for a Community or Project, type ahead functionality will help you locate

the desired location quicker. Possible matches begin to show as you type.

Fewer Open Windows/ClicksSelect a task and see its data in the preview pane on the side of the screen.

Select a record on the log and see its data in the preview pane on the side of the screen.

A Business Process and Tasks Log will contain functions that allow you to:

1. Modify the current view

2. Refresh the log

3. Print the log

4. Search for a particular record (or a set of records)

5. Find the record on the page

6. Download a help file on how to use the Business Process

Access these functions today by clicking on SWITCH to STANDARD VIEW

Search Bar DockingSearch window has a new look and will be ‘docked’ at the bottom of your screen. Simply

click on the icon to rotate its position to the right.

Customizable ViewsAll users can create a customizable view for Business Process or Task logs.

Click on Create New View within the View dropdown

Name your View. Then select

which Columns to display; whether

you want Filters on the data;

whether you’d like records/tasks to

be Grouped; and how you’d like the

data Sorted.

The new View will be saved in your

View menu. Use the

expand/collapse icon to expand

all/collapse all groups; or

expand/collapse groups individually.

Exportable ViewsData from a Business Process and Task log can now be exported to a CSV or Excel

spreadsheet.

Stay ActiveA user will receive a warning message five minutes prior to when they are to be logged

out because of inactivity. The browser tab will also start blinking. Click Stay Logged In

to remain logged into the session.

***NOTE: Session timeout will occur after 60 minutes of inactivity.***

New User Interface for Forms***An additional feature within the new version allows users to “Enable new user

interface wherever available.” The button to enable this functionality is located at the top

right portion of your screen next to the new Announcements icon. At this time, we

encourage you NOT to click on this icon to enable the new user interface. The new

features that are turned on by clicking this icon will change the look and functionality of

the Business Process forms. Over the course of the next few months, we will be

publishing documents and training aids; as well as conducting webinars to better

educate you on the new functionality. We are excited about what is available but realize

we need more time to better educate you on the new features. Over time, and after you

have had the chance to review the material and sit in on a webinar, you can enable the

new features (which can always be turned off by you). We want your first experience

with the new features to be a positive one, so we recommend holding off on using it until

we have the chance to properly educate you on its benefits. Please do contact our I-

BEAM Product Management team if you have any questions.***
