It also makes other supplies depending on the order of the client. It is founded by Go, Irma and based at Caloocan City. I chose this company, as this is my family business, the information would be easy to get, and also I would like to apply the lessons I got from class to our business. Focusing on the companys main product Whiteboard, here are the dimensions of quality. For the functionality, it has a smooth magnetic white surface allowing to be written by a whiteboard marker and be easily and cleanly erased by a whiteboard eraser, also be attached with magnets. Depending on the preference of the customer, the whiteboard can be made with a hook for attaching it to walls or with a stand attached with wheels for easy mobility. For reliability, as long as it is not left at harsh environment, it can be used numerous times. For usability, it is fairly similar to writing in paper, as long as you use a whiteboard marker and eraser. For maintainability, there is almost no need to repair it if used continuously, but if not, occasional cleaning is needed to remove dust build up. For efficiency, with 1 whiteboard, the user can write and erase multiple times. Lastly for portability, depending on the size, the whiteboard is fairly light and can be easily carried by one person; for large sizes, it is recommended to buy it with a stand if it is not be stationed at one spot only. Now on Evolution of Quality, for quality control, the manager, Vicente Go, checks the final products of the production line if it is similar to his work. For the quality assurance, the manager also oversees the production line to make sure everyone is making the product following his instruction. For quality planning, when my dad created his design on the stand of the whiteboard, he tested numerous materials and designs, also contacted numerous suppliers to measure possible costs for creating it, before deciding on the one being used today. For quality management, before a worker starts making whiteboards, the manager creates and shows him how to make the whiteboards and sets it as the procedure and the quality standard that the worker must follow until the end of his employment. Finally, for the definition of quality at IRMAX ENTERPRISES, there is no formal definition, as long as there are no obvious defects and customer complaints, then it is okay.
