Regulations for Applicants:1. Applicants must submit the application form together with the following information, to CCM’s reception by 19:00 on Jul 26. 1.1 Demo (presented either in CD, MD or MP3 format) 1.2 A short description of the band (50 to 100 words), for promotional use 1.3 A photo of the band (digital photo with a minimum of 4 MB), for promotional use2. Band name preferably in Chinese and Portuguese or Chinese and English (If not available, please state “N/A”)3. There are no restrictions on nationality, gender or age. At least one band member must be Macao resident.4. Each band must consist of a minimum of two and a maximum of eight members. Each musician can only perform for one band. The list of band members on the application form cannot be altered.5. There are no restrictions on the songs’ language and style, except that the contents of the lyrics shall not allude to race discrimination, sex, violence or any other offensive topics.

Selection Criteria: 1. The main selection criteria will be based on band experience, music arrangement, performing skills and production technique of the demo song, whereas the recording quality will be

a minor factor. 2. Invited senior musicians will be in charge of the bands selection. The jury’s decision shall be deemed as final.3. Priority will be given to bands that perform original songs.

Regulations for participants:1. Each band will be given approximately 20 to 25 minutes performing time, including equipment changeover time.2. All band members shall be responsible for the preparation work, both for the rehearsal and the performance of their band.3. Each band shall take the responsibility to submit the required information on time and to finish the performance according to schedule.4. The organizer will only provide the PA sound system and the “Required Equipment” as specified in the application form. The equipment should be properly handled. In case of any

damages, the concerned band(s) will have to indemnify the organizer. Other instruments and equipment, if needed, should be provided by the participating band(s).5. The organizer reserves the right to revoke any band’s qualification at any time and alter the regulations without notice.6. The organizer has the right to use any of the bands’ performance clips for promotional purposes.
