KEYPRIORITIESTECHNOLOGY:

To implement a whole school scope and sequence for design and digital technologies.

Proceed to full implementation of both design and digital technologies curricula in teaching and learning programs.

Provide teachers access to professional development and time for task development within year level groupings.

Build on resources for both digital and design technologies to ensure ease of application by teachers and student learning.

MILESTONES:

Ø Expand Teacher Planners to include Technology elements 2019. Ø Survey staff on planning directions for 2019. Ø Implement scope and sequence plans 2019 Ø Provide teacher support to implement scope and sequence plans. Ø Establish Tuesday Tech Workshops Term One 2019 Ø Implement Tech Mentor sessions with each year group 2019 Ø Introduce Tech Ten Minutes in each Hour meeting session. Ø Teacher Show n’ Tell Table in Staffroom Term Two 2019 Ø Survey staff on implementation progress Term Three 2019 Ø Review progress and set development steps for 2020 Term Four 2019

WELLNESS: To maintain and improve the confidence, resilience and happiness of children and staff members of Huntingdale Primary. Improve the sense of wellbeing as perceived by individuals, staff and students. Maintain and improve attendance level of students and staff above 2018 levels.

MILESTONES:

Ø Form a Wellbeing Task Group -2018 Ø Develop a priority plan outline -2018 Ø Define a two stream program: Students and Staff –

To implement a whole school scope and sequence for play/ing across the school

Proceed to full implementation of playful activity across the curricula in teaching and learning programs.

Provide teachers access to professional development and time for creative, philosophical and age-appropriate developmental situations (liaising within year level groupings).

Review possibilities and build on resources for play-based learning to ensure ease of application by teachers and student learning.

MILESTONES:

Ø Expand Play Committee 2018 (to be continued into 2019 and beyond). Ø Expand Teacher Planners to include Play-like elements 2019.
