Cover Letter

Moving to a new city has always been my dream, coming from a very tight knit but large family. I needed to know that I can survive and thrive away from my comfort zone and this is how I ended up in Brooklyn, New York.

I have recently completed the Disney College Program with the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The program has forever changed my work ethic and has brought a new meaning to creating magic for guests from all over the world. I hope to continue this in New York City whether that is in the office to assist in the efficiency of the company or on the sales floor.

Experience in the post-education world is limited but while in school I have gained many valuable skills to help me succeed. My experience includes working in a administration/clerical position with the School of Sociology at the University of Arizona. This position included typing up memos, fliers, creating excel sheets, inventory and ordering supplies for the office and professors. This position required that I dress professionally daily and maintain a professional presence.

My position with the Heard Museum and internship at the 39th Memorial in Phoenix and Tucson Arizona have given me the skills to interact with guests and give them a unique, one of a kind experience. The positions required delivering information of the many different exhibits to guests in an easy, understandable language while keeping it entertaining and relatable.

I appreciate the consideration for a role in your company and look forward to hearing a reply.
