Paid vs. Unpaid Internships

While many non-profit organizations and small businesses do not have the resources to pay interns, there are some positions which offer an hourly wage.

If you receive Indiana State Work Study Funds you may be eligible to complete a paid internship through EARN Indiana. Please visit www.IndianaINTERN.net to determine if you are eligible for these funds.

Even if you cannot find a paid internship, do not discount the opportunity. Many internships turn into positions after graduation. The temporary unpaid nature of your work is a priceless learning experience.
