Reporting and Supervisory Responsibilities This classification has no supervisory responsibilities. Typical Functions 1. Answers telephones, takes messages, and provides general information; greets and directs visitors; and answers routine inquiries. 2. Performs a variety of routine typing assignments including drafting basic correspondence and data entry. 3. Opens and routes incoming mail; distributes to department staff. 4. Copies and or duplicates materials as requested; may oversee day- to-day operation of copy machine. 5. Establishes, maintains, processes, and/or updates files, records, and/or other documents. 6. May order, stock, and distribute office supplies. 7. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1.
