This research paper on HR practices in Banking Sector: A study on IFIC Bank. IFIC Bank has exposed me to a territory of knowledge, which was so long beyond my comprehension. It was verily an enlightening experience. I am extremely grateful to Mr. Syed Zahidul Islam (SEVP) and Head of HRD, of IFIC Bank, and other associates in HRD of IFIC Bank Limited for providing me the information of the organization and making available the required information to analyze its Training Need Assessment. Although this kind of project work is entirely new for the organization, they extended all possible assistance required by me.

Finally, I express my profound gratitude to Zeennatara Begum. Project Supervisor. He advised and guided me in our work and was always very helpful and generous. Without his support, continuous encouragement and constructive criticism, probably I would not be able to write such an informative and objective report. His constant and generous supervision have been the source of inspiration throughout the tenure of writing this report.
