How to talk about Arbonne When you first start your Arbonne business it is normal not to be able to sleep as you are so excited about the possibilities of this business (it is fondly referred to as Arbonnitis or Arbonne insomnia) and it is really normal to be REALLY eager to go out and tell EVERYONE about the business and the products. But it is so so important that you learn a few Golden Rules on how to talk about Arbonne first so you don't end up vomiting Arbonne on everyone you meet. On the other hand some people start and think ok, “I’ll only tell a few friends about what I am doing my own way and just see what happens” and guess what? No-one really wants to join you in the business or buy the products because people make assumptions of what they think you are doing or what they think the products are all about or the people you expected to support you don't (and the people you often expected nothing from can end up being your biggest advocates). It is so important to tell people the whole story so they can make an informed decision just like you did. Your number one priority is learning the Business Opportunity presentation so you can easily answer any questions you might get about the business. In the meantime we encourage you to: get as many people to listen to the Discover Arbonne information session to hear as much about Arbonne as possible so that they fully understand what it is that Arbonne is (and also importantly what Arbonne is not), create your 30 second story read and understand the do’s & don’ts below and read through and understand how to respond to the Common Questions By doing all of the above, you will get your business off to a great start. YOUR 30 SECOND STORY What do you say when you are asked what do you do? Often we have found that new consultants share what they used to do (or are currently still doing) first and then sometimes share that they have their own Arbonne business while other consultants do not even mention Arbonne during these conversations! We would encourage you to ALWAYS mention you have your own Arbonne business first then share what you also do. For example, when asked “what do you do” you could reply with “I have a global online health and wellness business with a brand called Arbonne and I am also a medical receptionist” or “I have a global online health and wellness business with a brand called Arbonne and I am also a HR Manager”. By placing your business first, it conveys to the audience you are serious about your business (even if you have just started). It also means that people who are naturally entrepreneurial minded or have a genuine interest in others (all great attributes for a successful consultant) will ask you more questions whereas people who are not interested will not. This then will help you determine how much effort you go into when talking about the business or not! An excellent formula to share what you do is (please check out the separate script which will help you create your 30 second story) but basically it is to share: 2 sentences on what you did before Arbonne (Positive) BUT - 2 sentences on what was not working for you (negative) Then I found Arbonne - 2 sentences on what Arbonne is 2 sentences on why you started Arbonne 2 sentences about what Arbonne has given you. How to talk about ArbonneWhen you first start your Arbonne business it is normal not to be able to sleep as you are so excited about the possibilities of this business (it is fondly referred to as Arbonnitis or Arbonne insomnia) and it is really normal to be REALLY eager to go out and tell EVERYONE about the business and the products.

In the meantime we encourage you to:• get as many people to listen to the Discover Arbonne information session to hear as much

about Arbonne as possible so that they fully understand what it is that Arbonne is (and also importantly what Arbonne is not),

• create your 30 second story • read and understand the do’s & don’ts below and • read through and understand how to respond to the Common Questions

By doing all of the above, you will get your business off to a great start.

YOUR 30 SECOND STORY

What do you say when you are asked what do you do?

An excellent formula to share what you do is (please check out the separate script which will help you create your 30 second story) but basically it is to share:• 2 sentences on what you did before Arbonne (Positive)• BUT - 2 sentences on what was not working for you (negative)• Then I found Arbonne - 2 sentences on what Arbonne is• 2 sentences on why you started Arbonne• 2 sentences about what Arbonne has given you.

SOME DO’S & DON’TSDON’T DO

Start telling people half a story and ‘putting out the feelers’ saying things like “let me know if you would like to hear more” otherwise people simply will understand. You cannot be half pregnant!

Book in times with your friends and your sponsor to share the whole story.

Go out and start ‘constantly’ talking about Arbonne. People don’t want to feel like that’s suddenly all you talk about.

Talk about the things you love & mention Arbonne when appropriate.

Turn social situations into a chance to talk about Arbonne, you want to keep business and social separate

If people are asking you lots of questions say ‘Oh we’re out celebrating your birthday now, let’s do coffee next week and I’ll tell you all about it then.’

Arrange a coffee with someone to catch up and then pull out a gold bag and your laptop

Make sure people understand that you want to meet them to share a business opportunity and aren’t confused about why you arranged the coffee.

Promote Arbonne on a Social Media Platform until you have read the Arbonne Policies & Procedures. Don’t post pictures of the products and advertise or sell online, don’t write intense status updates offering the opportunity and don’t share links that others post unless you know it’s from a reputable source. Or bombard your facebook page or social media platform with just Arbonne.

Create a lifestyle on Facebook that people will be attracted to. Most importantly be you! Social Media has completely revolutionised Network Marketing and can be a very effective business tool...when used properly!

Let others negativity affect you. If someone hasn’t heard the full presentation yet then their opinions of what they think about Arbonne are not based on fact. You know more than them.

Always speak positively about Arbonne and your business.

Try to convince anyone about Arbonne or get into a heated debate about it. ‘Amateurs convince and professionals sort.’

Share this opportunity with someone and then leave them to decide if it is a yes or a no for them. It really doesn’t matter either way. You have made a decision to be successful and their decision only affects them.

Get emotional. Treat it like a business.

Be negative, feel sorry for yourself or wallow in the No’s!

This business is not about YOU! It is about what we can do for others. No = Next Opportunity.

Sponsor someone who has already heard about Arbonne through someone else

Send People back and build your business with honesty and integrity.

Spend all day, week and month stressing about what you are not doing in Arbonne

Just create your list of priorities, schedule in your activity and just do it!

Waiting for someone to say yes or for someone to get back to you for your business to keep movingforward

Keep sharing the business and building your list.

HOW TO ANSWER COMMON QUESTIONS

What is Network Marketing? It is simply word of mouth referral. Network Marketing Companies cut out expenses (like advertising) to provide a better quality product and ordinary people like you and I get paid for our word of mouth recommendation of their product or service.

What is Arbonne? It’s a Health and Wellness Company that has incredible botanically based products and an amazing income opportunity that helps people create an additional income by consuming and recommending their products.

How do you make money from Arbonne? Well, everybody showers everyday and we all use personal care products. You earn money because you have the ability to get paid an override on the volume of product going through your network, this increases as you promote. You also receive 35% commission from Client orders & 15% commission on PCs.

Is it Selling? There are many ways to grow an Arbonne business. It is about simply sharing information on products and/or an income opportunity that you are passionate about & showing others to do the same. It is a selling but not in the way you know it. Some people become direct sellers to purchase products for their own use at a discount while others market products to consumers and get commissions from their sales.

What is multi-level marketing?Multi Level Marketing is part of direct selling. Some people become direct sellers and also build a sales network and get commissions from their own sales and the sales of others within their network that they are mentoring to build a business.

Is it a Pyramid Scheme? It’s absolutely not - they are illegal. Arbonne is a legitimate Network Marketing company that is a member of the Direct Selling Association. It is an effort based business where it is absolutely possible (& happens regularly) that you can earn more than the person who introduced you. Pyramid selling is an unsustainable business model that involves promising participants payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than getting commission through the sale of products or services to the public.

What’s so great about the products? They benefit from having botanically based ingredients that produce results. In Recent clinical trials the products significantly out-performed competitive products.

Are the products all organic?

Stop sponsoring (preferred clients OR consultants) and doing personal activity

Keep in activity and sharing the products and business. It is too good not to share

Accept information or opinions from un-reputable sources (e.g anonymous blogs on-line)

Trust reliable sources of information and if in doubt, ask your RVP or NVP

Give up! You are always just person away from a new network and your next ENVP2B

Arbonne does try and source organic botanicals if they are available however we are unable to claim that all our products are certified organic. That said we do use a number of organic ingredients in our ranges.

Are the products all natural? Our products are not 100% natural. All of our ingredients are derived from nature but we use thebest of science and nature when formulating our products so we cannot make claims our productsare 100% natural. If they were natural they would not give you any benefit to visibly reduce the signs of ageing. Our ingredient policy, available on our website and in our product catalogue, explains what we mean by pure, safe and beneficial.

What makes Arbonne different from other companies? Firstly the products are ultra premium in quality and secondly it is a completely online company. Personally, I don’t have to deliver products, take payments, or hold stock. Once someone has been introduced to Arbonne they buy online through a unique ID and PIN and Arbonne do the rest.

I’ve read blogs and I’m worried? Bloggers are people who typically anonymously write their opinions on the Internet, they are biased so therefore not always factual sources of information. If you want to look into Arbonne I highly recommend you do that but make sure you look in the right places start with www.arbonne.com Also ask the successful people in your upline for informationThink about whether you would take medical advice from someone on the Internet or would you consult a doctor?

How much time does it take? As much time as you choose to spend on it. Most people do this alongside their full time or part time job for additional income, so if you don’t have lots of extra time, you just fit it in. It is effort based so the more time you commit to it the more successful you will be. You can move fast or slow in this business - the choice is yours.

We really encourage you to follow BEST - the Arbonne Business Ethics and Standards Team. Follow them on Facebook for great tips and advice for all consultants.
