How do I study…for math?
Learning to learn.

At first.
Perfect practice makes perfect.
No one came out of the womb
deriving equations.
…but how do you practice math?
Pay attention.
Engage your brain.
Connect ideas.
Go through old homework
assignments.
Classify problems into types
and re-do a few of each kind.
Read through old notes and/or handouts.
Do they make sense?
Talk through
problems/procedures with a
friend.
Search key words of
types of problems that
you’re stuck on. Watch
videos or read
explanations to clarify.
Attend a tutoring session. (Often there is free tutoring available!)
