What Is A Variable?

A variable is a letter that stands for a # we don’t know.

The Example Problem

Tybria has 61 teddy bears. Kayla has 109 teddy bears. How many more teddy bears does Kayla have than Tybria?

Write your open-sentence.

Write the solution to the open sentence.
