Royal Mail Signed For®

If you are using Click & Drop® and posting Royal Mail Signed For® items, these can be placed in the same bags as shown on previous page.

Royal Mail Tracked®

Separate your Royal Mail Tracked 24® and Royal Mail Tracked 48® items into separate mailbags. Seal each bag with a plastic bag tie and attach the appropriate bag label to indicate the service used. Please do not mix Royal Mail Tracked 48® items with your Royal Mail Tracked 24® items as this may cause delays.

Customs Declarations (Channel Islands only)

If posting items to the Channel Islands please follow these steps:

• Complete and attach a customs declaration to any shipment containing goods and/or gifts destined for the Channel Islands (i.e. Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney or Herm & Sark)

• If your shipment is worth less than £270 then use a CN22, if it is worth £270 or over then use a CN23. Attach declarations using a plastic document wallet.

Customs Declarations and pre-advice customs dataComplete and attach a Customs Declaration to any International shipments containing goods and/or gifts destined for a country outside of the European Union (EU).

If your shipment is worth less than £270 then use a CN22, if worth £270 or over then use a CN23. Attach declarations using a plastic document wallet (stock item code: SP 301).

If you wish to download printable versions of these forms or require more information please visit royalmail.com/customs

All postal operators across the globe additionally request that the customs forms are completed accurately and in full, including pre advice customs data e.g. recipient email address, to facilitate rapid clearance and avoid delays. When not using a tracked product it is now a requirement to add an item identifier (known as a S10 barcode) on every item. Pre advice customs data and an S10 barcode will automatically be produced using one of our shipping systems e.g. Click & Drop® or will be applied at a Post Office® if you are dropping items off.
