Pick the kind of batter you want (Don’t do crumble cake or brownie mix)

If you want to add anything (Chocolate chips, toffee, etc.)

Then get a large mixing bowl and add the powdered batter and add the other materials needed. Directions are on the back of the box.( Look at high altitude to make sure the batter doesn’t deflate.)

Bake as needed to the temperature on the box.

To make homemade frosting you must have the following ingredients:2 cups Powdered sugar ¾ cup of milk ½ cup of melted butter

Mix all the ingredients together (first add the butter, then the powdered sugar, and then the milk.) Stir thoroughly until thick and creamy.

For store bought frosting, get close to the same brand of frosting that you used for your batter (Duncan Hines, Pillsbury, etc.)

Take the frosting and tint any color you please.

If you want the frosting silky or thin put it in the microwave for 10-20 seconds with a paper towel on top.

After you choose what kind of frosting you want then you want to get the cupcakes out of the oven. You will put the cupcakes

in the freezer for 10-15 minutes and wait to frost.

Then get the cupcakes out and take your favorite cupcake and start frosting!

You will start by putting a glop of frosting on top of the cupcake.

You will now take a butter knife and spread evenly around each side! That sets the spread. Add more if needed!

You can also pipe your frosting.

If you want to make a more sparkly cupcake add amazing sprinkles: Pearls Diamonds Candies

Add the sprinkles or other things by rolling the frosted cupcake in sprinkles for a shiny look.

Add the pearls, diamonds,etc. by putting them right in the middle or around the edge for a more elegant look.

If you want fondant it can be sculpted or put on top of the cupcake.

If you want it to be covering the cupcake you should cut out the shape of the top of the cupcake and make any kind of design inside.

If you want it for decoration, make any design you want. Then put it in either the fridge or in the freezer for 5-7 minutes.

When your cupcakes are done but need a place to sit, find a carousel or a fun plate to make the cupcakes even more special.
