Devil harms but Jesus heals…

My yesterday experience made me to understand the

practical sense of John 10:10; “The thief comes only in order

to steal and kill and destroy….”

I woke up shortly after midnight to ease myself in the toilet

and I discovered that the heavy hardwood at the corridor

was nowhere to be found which was very unusual.

So I decided to search for the hardwood without a clue that a

thief was hiding somewhere in the house. When I turned

towards the kitchen, he suddenly ran out from the kitchen to

hit the heavy hardwood on my head but I raised my hands to

defend myself against the attack. And his intention to hit my

head to death was forfeited, though my left thumb was

pierced.

When he discovered that he had missed the target,

he ran through the corridor towards the exit of the

house and I chased him with my bleeding finger, but I

couldn’t catch-up with him because I had on me a

lose night gown which had prevented me from moving

fast.

Glory be to God that the thief couldn’t kill me

and my left thumb did not suffer bone fracture.

That is the work of Jesus.

Truly, the thief had come with the intention to steal our

properties and kill anyone who hinders his success, and that is

the exact plan of devil to all human beings. Satan had the plan

to steal our joy, kill our salvation and destroy our chance of

gaining heaven. But glory be to Jesus who had come to give

us abundant joy into eternity, provided we surrender our whole

lives to Him to control.

Stay hot in the will of Jesus and you

will never regret given your life to HIM.
