HORIZONSHorizons is a camp featuring four different 4-H project learning programs. Each participant will select from one of the six programs to be offered. This year’s projects include: Woodworking Adventure is designed to teach youth the basic carpentry skills of planning, measuring, using carpentry tools and assembling wooden projects. A few things you will learn and do are, animal nutrition, handling and restraining animal. Also helping with animal examinations and treatments. Wildlife Adventure is the week of outdoor experience to raise awareness about conservation of our natural resources, nurture appreciation of wildlife and teach stewardship. It will include hands on wildlife activities, kayaking, hiking and much more. Horizons Camp will also include many of the fun activities you have come to enjoy at the 4-H Center, such as dancing, swimming and lots more. More than just camping, we strive to provide opportunities for young people to grow and mature.
