Good morning Everyone

Collective Worship During Lockdown
We are to be the peace makers now.
This week we will remember VE Day
Victory in Europe
Last week we looked at the fruits of the spirit and how good we should be to ourselves and
to each other.
This week we look at being people of peace.
To have a positive attitude to others.
Our reading is from Matthew Chapter 5 Vrs 1-11
•He said:
•3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
•11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
There are 8 Beatitudes: Can you find them?
1.Blessed are the poor in spirit 2.Blessed are those who mourn 3.Blessed are the meek 4.Blessed are those who hunger and thirst 5.Blessed are the merciful 6.Blessed are the pure in heart 7.Blessed are the peacemakers 8.Blessed are those who are persecuted for
righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
But what do they all mean?
1. Unaware of their own worth 2. Those who cry for loved ones
3. The weak
4. Really want justice and things to be right 5. The generous
6. The big hearted
7. The diplomats
8. Who are victimised for doing what is right, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Which beatitude do you most like?
Could you think of times when you might be one or more of the others?
Would you like to create a Prayer
board?
Using some emoji’s?
At times it can be hard to find the words to pray. So, create an emoji prayer board for your family. Draw or download some emotion emojis. Cut them out and put them safely in an envelope or box. On the top of a sheet of paper write, Lord Jesus, today you know I am feeling. At the bottom of the sheet write “Please be with me today. Amen.” Each day choose an emoji to go in the centre of the paper as your prayer
STICK YOUR EMOJI HERE……
“Lord Jesus, today you know I am feeling……
“Please be with me today. Amen.”
Perhaps you could say the prayer out loud and then on the next
slide you can say the Lord’s prayer…..
Let us pray: Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever. Amen.
Birthdays:
•Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday to you,
•Happy birthday dear………..
•Happy birthday to you.
